Best abs workout 3 x a week

Post by snorkles »

What is the best workout someone can do for 3 times a week. i am asking this because im not an expert and if someone gives me the hardest or best workout i can imediately do that instead of trying to do own workout. any workout that will last 15-45mins is good.

any suggestions please? of what to do for how many sets to target the upper, core, lower (abs) and obliques.

thanks

3x a week, would probably require some kind of split.

Something like this might work.

Back, Bi's, Shoulders.

Chest, Tri's

Quads, Hams, Calfs

Other possible way, is do Upper Body on days 1 and 3, working all the muscles 2x a week, maxing at around 4-6 sets per muscle per session. So upper body muscles are worked 8-12 times a week. I'd say 8 sets weekly for small muscles, 12 for bigger muscles.

Then on the 2nd of the 3 days, do a big kiss Leg session.

Well the usual thing to do, is to do a couple of sets, with about 10 reps in it, and then after week or two, work up to 3 sets.

Or what you could do is perhaps something like a minute of planks, and a set of Leg Raises, and then after a week or two, add a second set of planks, for 10.

That might be a good starter for you.

go to refernce section and read "core training for smart folks" if your not hasppy with that than serach "21st century core training" by the same author which has 2, 3 and 4 day ab plans in it

personally twice a week should be enough if you the rest of your training is adequate
