Frustrated swimmer

I really enjoy swimming and we're lucky enough to have a decent sized pool in the yard, however it frustrates me in the winter months when it's too cold or covered in snow to use. I really like the idea of getting a pool enclosure like this http://www.poolandspaenclosuresusa.com/ but wife's not thrilled about the idea. argument is that it will save on gym fees during the winter time. Does anybody else have a pool enclosure? Would you recommend one? I really want to be able to use the pool all year round.
