20 year old Vegetarian with a no exercise job need to cut fa

Post by ushamohit »

I am Usha() and I am a 20 year Vegetarian (not Vegan),I work as a freelancer(Web Designing/Android Dev), so basically and I just sit in front of a computer all the time and make living.

It has been just over a year since I am doing this but I have put on a lot of weight.

current configuration:

Weight: 92 Kilograms / 202.825 pounds .
Height: 69 inches / 175.26 cm / 5 ft 9 inch .
BMI: 29.9 (Overweight)

Items I have removed from diet to help me loose weight:
1.) Sweet Soda like coke.
2.) Ice Cream
3.) Burger/Pizza/French Fry

Items which I want to be removed but can't:
1.) Oil

I don't want to build a six pack or anything, I just want tummy to not go places before me. I want to be normal not overweight, but I don't mind having some strong muscles.

Please note that I am very low on cash, so I can't afford to get/rent/use any equipment. I however own a mat and a small room and a bar which can be used to do pull up.

I have no experience with any sort of exercises, can you please guide me how and which approach should I take to reduce weight ?.

Googling gave me the following exercise names:
1.) Pull Up
2.) Crunches
3.) Push Up

What else can I include to help me achieve goals. Will climbing up and down the stairs actually make any difference? What do people mean when they say do 3-4 sets of Pull Up ?.

I am not sure if it is good or not but friend suggested to get a heavier pair of shoes so I can loose calories more quickly if I walk.

Thanks

I don't know where you are located but you could try some dvd's??

I'm not a big fan of jillian michaels but she does have some good dvd's actually and they are pretty cheap.

If you are more into building muscle if can find and buy p90x cheap on craigslist or ebay or borrow through your library or a friend or something all you need is a bar for pull ups and some dumbbells. It's expensive to buy outright though.

good luck. :)
