advicce on mucle and mass gaining

Hello i have been a gym member for over a year now and i have seen no visual gaines I changed diet so i eat around 3-4000 calories a day and 250 g protein i am 6'3 and 178 lbs.. its very aggrivating because i not gaining much if any definition to body. i am getting stronger because i increase weight on almost biweekly basis and am impressed by that. but i still a tall thin guy with no definition

High Fkoppers good to talk to you.

The more you bulk the hard it will be to get more definition, because 1lb of added muscle can burn an extra 45-50 calories and improve the prospects of muscle definition, but when someone gets to probably around 175lbs+, it really does get hard relative to the calorie intake.

One thing you can try is to cut 10g of carbs out of each meal, then replace the calories with healthy fat calories. what should then happen is the body will have a carb deficeit that means carbs cannot allow for the same energy provision as before, so the body will want try to get its remaining energy needs fulfilled some other way and fat should be the way to go, as fat is a secondary energy source.
