NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER GIVE IN!! Whatever challenges you face in life - face them head on and stare them down. Life hands us ups and downs - I've had share of downs lately, dealing with an illness I never expected or thought "would happen to me". I have bad days to be sure, but I just keep getting up, putting big girl panties on and doing what i can to keep strong and healthy.
YOU are capable of much more than you know. Dig deep and find your inner strength you were born with - it is what will get you thru this life. Keep a positive attitude and don't take "I can't" as an excuse. Do what you can, with what you have, a little bit each day - it is worth it and your body and mind will benefit!
The poster on the wall says SUCCESS doesn't come to you.....you go to it.
You gotta fight for your fitness, you gotta earn it. Work hard to achieve it. Peace and success to all!!

Thanks guys!

Tuesday I did a 25 minute treadmill workout, with pickups of running 1 minute - 5 times. Felt great, really energized.......until the next day.
Wednesday I was really tired, legs were hurting - Thursday was the same way - so I know I overdid it.
It's hard when you are used to being fit and running for miles, to go down to only being able to go for 10-15 minutes of treadmill walking.
But of course, circumstances are not the norm either. :?

Anyway...lesson learned, baby steps, baby steps. :)

Current weight: 135 lbs. :D

I'm sending you a BIG HUG, because I appreciate it must be frustrating to know your own physical circumstances from a few months ago and now to know what they represent in terms of what is not possible right now.

The main thing is to keep believing in yourself. You are still a lot stronger and more accomplished than you were when you first started posting here and you need to remember what that represents in terms of your age, because you have done so much to develop yourself on the inside and out and you are a beautiful, beautiful Lady inside and out, who is maturing beautifully.

You are capable of so much more than people 30 years younger than you and it cannot be easy for a moment living with your current circumstances and having to remember what you could physically do not that long back, versus what you can do now, but you should be so proud of yourself for persevering and THANK YOU for continuing to be a part of this site, because whatever you have been going through, it would be understandable if you had been absent from here for a long time, but you still carry on reaching out and touching people, in your own unique and wonderful way and that is a brilliant thing in the circumstances and it says such a lot about you and no matter what it is you have to go through on a daily basis, unconditional strength is always yours to take as much of as you need and this community will be here for you for the forseeable future.

Chin up, GOOD LUCK and best wishes Lynne. You're an amazing, amazing Lady and I couldn't be more proud of you for being you, for persevering with yourself and for treating yourself like the special person you are.

I hope you can, if possible, get through what you're going through as quickly as is possible and continue to realise the physicality you are worth and ABSOLUTELY deserve to attain :).

Be strong and keep on shining okay :).

You look great by the way and you're fast becoming a great rolemodel for females and a great advertisement for the maturing female, so WELL DONE

thank you Bossman.

Monday workout: 1.6 mile treadmill run/walk. Walked most of it with pickups of running for 30 to 45 seconds about every 2 to 3 minutes.
Felt good, wanted to do more, but held back - didn't want to over do it again.
Planning on another treadmill workout this evening or in the a.m. before work. :D

I'm so excited I finally got exercise bike!

It is more of an upright bike than what I originally wanted, but after comparing bikes and testing several, I decided on one. It has adjustable seating and handlebars. It has 24 pre-programmed workouts and I really liked how smooth and quiet it is. Going to do first workout on it today.

Saw a quote to the other day that I loved. It said "Even on weakest days, I get a little bit stronger."
That is me. Every day we open our eyes is a blessing. A chance to do something to better ourselves, no matter how big or small the achievement is. From just getting out of bed, to walking 10 minutes or running 10 miles. Making an effort to do something is a battle won. :D

Some of the medicine I have to take causes severe leg muscle and bone pain - sometimes it's hard to walk. But I make myself at least try to exercise on the days when I feel it let up a bit. Yesterday, I did a 20 minute treadmill walk with some slow jogging added in. Each time I do some sort of a workout I feel like I "won" the battle for the day.
So when I say "don't waste a day" I really mean it. Exercise and health is such a blessing if you have it and/or are able to do it. It doesn't matter if you are overweight or haven't exercised in years - do something! Never take for granted the opportunity to workout, exercise and make healthy food choices. Your body craves these things, it was made to function at it's best when given these things. Food in it's most natural state, fresh produce, lean unprocessed meats are what a body needs and understands. :D :D
