I have to tone up body
I don't want to look bulky and all that stuff. I just want to tone up body. I am going to join a gym and want to start on the weights. Do you think this is advisable?

it's funny how some people are afraid lifting weights will make them "bulky." To get that way, you'd have to lift over an hour a day, take lots of protein supplements, and get ripped. Since that's probably not going to happen, yes, lifting weights is a great way to tone up your body.

Go ahead, knock yourself out, it will be fine as long as you use a good sensible training programme, that doesn't encourage muscle imbalances and involves overloading on weight and potentially injurious technique.
