Haven't used it but just read up on the features. An easy way to track everything except weight training type exercise. Looks easy to operate and access information. It won't help you get up and do the exercise or track resistance training (as I said). As a tool to track... sure why not. That is what it was made for. But if you don't do anything worth tracking, then why have it?

Cheers!!

That is just it, this is for you! Your health, better sleep, more energy, hopefully longer healthy life. They are your benefits to gain or lose. So why not gain them? ;) With a little determination I know you can overcome the shyness and get in there and do what's right for you! You have already started by walking on breaks at work... That is against the norm of society and probably your workplace. So I know you can use that gym membership to its full advantage!

Have a great week!!

Get back in there and train Nathalie :). You don't need to feel out of place, because most people there don't and there will be people there who could be very overweight, so it's not like you'd be in a room full of 18-24 year old females, that weigh 110 lbs and make you feel frumpy and old before your time.

You're a lovely, lovely Lady and I want you to succeed for YOU :).

So don't be afraid, just get in there and live it and make more of the person you are and feel more like you belong, because you WILL belong I guarantee it.

I'm sending you a BIG HUG and I honestly do get your sentiment about the awkward feelings you had in the past, but you needn't feel awkward, just proud of yourself for doing what millions who need to and have the time and ability to do, cannot be bothered to do, which is give a real damn about themselves and as a result just sit around eating themselves into a potentially bad place.

Trust me you'll thank yourself for going back there, because this is for YOU, nobody else just YOU and you ARE worth it :).

Be brave, be strong and no worries okay :).

hi....thx...yes but I really have to push myself to do it...sometime I don't walk the full hours but I assume that its better then nothing right...

Well we have a small lunch room in our office ...with table and a small couach ....lots of people rest there when they tired...and because sometime I sleep only 4 hrs a night I'm pretty tired when its around lunch time ....so but I figure falling a sleep or walking what better both are we need more sleep but also more exercice...so I try to push myself to go for a walk....

Thx ...
Have a good week too... :D

Hi Bossman....
Thx for the encouragement...I need that....I kind of feel bad because I have this membership for at least 6 month now and I been to the gym maybe 2 month out of it and it was because I had someone with me so I did not feel too bad...(the personal trainer)...

I don't know why I feel like that.... I always feel out of place...but you right I should try going again maybe I will feel better....

Its just that I don't even where to start and how to start.....weight lifting or cardio first...and how many....wich muscle do I do first the whole body or just the leg or upper part... I did notice that when I went there I had no muscle in arm at all I can't even do a push up....and at the end of 2 month I could do some not much maybe 6 its not much but for me its good enough better then 0....

I know I'm not a huge person....I did gain weight and because I am short and I am overweight weight is located all over but I notice that I tend to get weight around and below breast with is not very comfortable...and I read very dangerous for your heart....grrrr....that I should not weight that much its very unhealthy and since dad dies from a heart attach at 35 and he had cancer too well I should so something about it...

I will try to go back...and get over the fear of feeling like I don't belong there... :D (Thx Bossman....and thx for the BIG HUG too...that was nice :D )

You had a trainer last time though didn't you, so if you went back and could get one again, then you'd have the understanding of what to do, instead of just guessing.

^ Agree!! Working w/ a trainer will should allow you to feel more comfortable with the whole gym environment. Try going during non peak hours when there are less people to deal with!

Yes I did have a trainer for 4 weeks....but I felt that he was not the greatest.... I don't want to be negatif about him but I was expecting more for what I pay.

I have to go back there I tell myself every day since I'm still paying 45$ a month and don't go that not very good.

This gym is open 24 h but I get up at 5:30 am and got to leave by 6 and don't get back from work at about 7:30 is it bad to go to the guy at night without no supper...well I usually don't eat supper I don't have time but son told me that maybe I should go just the weekend since I don't have time during the week and work out 2.5 hours saturday adn 2.5 hours sunday so that maybe it will make out for the week day that I missed.

I guess the weekend is better then nothing but problem is that I have no wheelpower just right now...and also very very tired all the time.

I don't get it I use to be able to sleep just like 3 hours a night and was fine just last year but lately I sleep sometime 7 hrs and I get up as tired as before even sometime I sleep at lunch and coffee break for like 25 min and I feel a sleep just like that I was never like this before...

Probably your body is worn out and telling you, you need a break to eat healthy, sleep and recharge your batteries. Stress, over 40, rotating shifts, over 8 hour shifts, diet, exercise, etc. All these are huge for making us get run down and not just tired but constantly fatigued.

Something I learned awhile ago is that most people require a supplement of Vitamin D for minimum of 1,000 UI a day and those not outside a lot, work nights, etc. will probably need more. Yes, the sun is the best source but most people do not get enough each day and winter makes it worse. Milk products are also a source of vitamin D but not enough for our required intake. You should talk to your doctor about it and maybe have your vitamin levels checked via blood tests to see if you are deficient in one or more of them. If you are, it will take a minimum of 4 weeks to notice a change if you start supplements and up to 3 months and usually it is a gradual change.

I don't recommend the 2.5 hours a day two days in a row and then 5 off... honestly, there is a bigger chance of injury that way. 30 min a day or even every other day or perhaps Sat, Sun, Tues, Thurs for 30-45 minutes. If 30-40 minutes is too much for the week nights go for 20 minutes for a quick circuit at the gym or a bike ride or even just a walk. Exercise does not always mean high intensity, sometimes it mean just get up and do something active that you enjoy. Golf, tennis, bike riding, bowling, shooting hoops, skipping, lawn darts, wandering the local mall, strolling through a park or some nature trails.... you get the idea.

If We don't chat again soon, Have a very Merry Christmas and New Year and be safe. Hope you can catch up on some sleep and some time with family.

Cheers,
Chris

As Vamp suggested, maybe you need a break to re-energize your body and then you can start back up in Jan.

When you start back up, you could do cardio every morning before work. This probably sounds awful, but might make you actually feel more energized throughout your work day, which in turn will help you feel better. :)
