Hey there! I'm new to the forum. Today was officially last lazy day. I'm a pretty tall guy and I'm somewhat overweight. Even without the body fat, I'm still a pretty big guy. I'd still like to get rid of that. I work a desk job and I don't like feeling so weak all of the time. I've learned from past experience that eating healthy alone makes me feel so much better. I'd like to get rid of the fat on body, including love handles.
I get paid tomorrow and I've cleared apartment of all junk food. What are some things I could buy? Every other time I've tried to eat healthy, I end up getting bored of wheat cereal, sandwhich, healthy dinner, repeat. Ideas would be appreciated!
Also, is it uncommon to begin losing weight without exercise and slowly getting into exercising as it becomes easier (as you lose fat)?

Hi Jason, good to talk with you.
Weight loss can occur when in a calorie deficeit yes, so you don't need to exercise to lose weight, as the body can use fat stores for energy and oxidise them even when asleep, so it's then about how much calories, fat and carbohydrates that can be stored as fat when consumed to excess cen be processed in direct correlation to the amount of fat the body oxidses throughout the day.
If your body rids itself of more fat than it stores you will lose weight.
However exercise is a very useful supplemental thing, espeially as 1lb of added muscle burns an extra 45-50 calories, but it does require a good diet, as a poor diet coupled with exercise would yield some weight loss, but not as much as a good diet and no exercise and I can say that with 99.9% assurity.
As for the foods you can eat, there's plenty of good foods you can have between meals, that can be full or partial snacks.
Microwave soups, baked beans and rice dishes, fruit, including tomatos and cucumber, vegetables including lettuce, pineapple carrot sticks and celery sticks, oat granolas, wholegrain bread, sandwiches, meat like beef, turkey, ham and chicken from a packet, pre-cooked chicken breast, pre-boiled eggs, nuts, peanuts, low fat cheese and flaxseeds.
Most of these can then be used to develop main meals as well, except that with main meal you cna include other stuff like peas, beans, lentils, soy foods, including edemame, soybeans, tofu, nattikinase and miso and a bigger array of vegetable choices and fresh meat choices including pork.
