that is the question asked to some americans. the majority said they would rather have debt than gain 25 pounds.

I would choose that as well. At present and weight and because of struggle losing I wouldn't want another 25 pounds.
I think that's a bad example though because of course you would choose your physical health over debt!
I do agree with the article though.

To a large extent wellness is not governed by wealth, but by a persons attitude to themselves, I.E. spending money on exercise related things is not a vital component of wellness, because people can regularly conduct exercise for free of their own accord and buying the right foods isn't as expensive as some people think and common sense coupled with thinking outside of the box can give people a bit more financial freedom to buy what in general is best for them.

I can gain 25 lbs and take it off easily,debt takes years to correct...so to answer your question, I would rather gain the weight
