Hey guys,
I have never been able to achieve a 6 pack, ever. I have been lifting weights for years, but usually had a husky build with the exception of last summer and when I was a competitive kayaker at 17. After working out hard in the summer, I put on 12 pounds from beer and pizza from mid Sept to the end of November.
I just finished a three week get lean program with Body Building.com and I am now switching up to another get lean gym routtine, but have decided to try intermittent fasting for eating.
There is a lot of research on this topic and the potential for extra energy during a fasted workout, the steady energy level, and longer time to burn fat storage intrigues me.
I was curious what other people know about intermittent fasting. I'm doing 8-16, so I have an 8 hour eating window from noon-8pm. Has anyone else tried this eating style? Do they get hungry during the mornings or late at night? How do you fight this hunger? I was told it takes a few weeks for your body to adjust and the fatigue from the change to go away, but afterwards this regimen is pretty awesome.
Feedback please : )
I just joined this site last night. Hi everyone.

I don't know a lot about it, but I would heed catuion on the fasted workouts for sure.
Such things have proven to cause people too much fatigue and an inability to finish workouts properly and dizzy spells in people who have not had any such issues before.
