Hey guys! So for the past three weeks or so I've been doing sprint repeats up this hill in nieghborhood. Well I feel like I'm getting more toned...but when I measure waist, I'm still at the same measurement I was when I started. Is it possible to get more toned but have measurements increase?
thanks,
Lars

If you're doing sprint type stuff, it's possible you might have gained a small amount of muscle, as something involving explosive movements and resistance might do that.

Watch your diet, make sure you're not eating more. I recommend keeping a food journal. Also 3 weeks isn't that long, when your body decides to let go of the water you should see a measurable drop then.

3 weeks is not a long time. Keep doing what you are doing and your results will show up in time.

If you are doing a lot of running you should increase your water intake drastically other wise your body will retain a lot of fluid due to the amount of stress and activity your putting it through with sprints. From experience in the military just running can take a while to lose inches. Its all about getting your body acclimated to that activity.

3 weeks isn't that long indeed. And did you do them every day during the past three weeks?

I agree with all the folks above. Give yourself a few more weeks and make sure your nutrition is really dialed in. Sprints are an awesome way to burn fat but it does take a little time plus a combination of training and nutrition.
Keep up the great work and good luck!
