when you can't sleep at night/eating
sometimes i can't sleep at night. not always but sometimes. usually i am starving when i wake up. is it okay to eat at night? not a huge meal or anything? Should you increase your calorie amount if you don't sleep till the next night?

Oooh, I know what you are going through. Hot peppermint tea before bed and a good boring book helps me.

There's all manner of things you can try. Here are 10 possibles, though one might be a complete no-go, you'll work that one out.
1. Reading.
2. Counting sheep.
3. Glutamine.
4. Melantonin.
5. Tryptophan
6. 5-HTP
7. Camomile Tea.
8. Move away fron noisy neighbours, playing Iron Maiden unttil 3PM. No experience of that.
9. Trying to clear your thoughts and encourage a regular breathing pattern.
10. A small increase of carbs about 1-2 hours befroe sleep. nothing heavy. something like a Yoghurt pot, a small granola, a small portion of oatmeal, a carrot stick, something like that.
