I did it for a number of years when I was boxing. It build coordination, strengthens ankles, calves and quads. I was fit and I would do 2x sets of 1000. I'm wondering if I should start again!
can u jump rope on any surface??? i thot if u did it on concrete for example it would hurt your joints or something, did it make much of a difference to any of u??
and it has wood floors. next time i will go for 5 min, go for 10 at high intensity "HIIT?" then go for another 5 and see how I do. I gotta be honest, the first first min was the hardest, then you kinda get in your groove and get your cardio high on and it kept me going. just like the other day, i ran 3 miles, and i had more energy after i'd completed 2. thanks everyone! i'm new to this so i'm learning some stuff already.
