Diets

Post by Ambs_Reyes »

There are so many kinds of diets out there but I have no idea which one to choose from. I’m trying to loose some stomach fat and water weight. Any suggestions?

What meals do you eat and what times do you eat?

Depending on what your diet is like now, sometimes a back-to-basics approach is the most helpful: if you limit yourself to drinking only water and tea (no soda, flavour-shot filled lattes, sugar-loaded juices etc.), and to eating only real food - ie. no processed food 'products' - that can make a big difference to your body composition and overall sense of well being. If you eat meat, eggs, vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds, and keep out processed foods (anything with a name or label that comes in a box: crackers, frozen dinners, granola bars, nutrigrain bars, chips, pretzels, popcorn, candy, iced cream, etc.) , your body fat will shrink away and you will feel much better.

It's not possible to lose fat from one specific area of your body unless you have liposuction, but if you decrease your overall body fat, you will see the results where you want to see them eventually. I'll be interested to see what your eating is like now and how it can be tweaked.

I eat more for lunch then i do breakfast or dinner .I eat lunch around 2 and dinner around 7 . Sometimes i even forget to eat breakfast . Athene, i agree with you yes i know its not just the fat but overall weight in general needs to come down. iv been searching around and asking people if theirs anything out there that can help me understand how to eat the right foods but everything seems to be to complicated or expensive . another usuer on here mentioned some program that really worked for them bt i cant remeber the name . it was something gx program or genetix something. i just wish i could remeber the name but they had the same situation as me . i hope i can find something soon summers coming soon.

This is something I posted some time back, it may be of interest to you. I modified it slightly to what I think would suit you.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

Option 1.

Bowl of Whole-grain Cereal and scrambled Eggs, (2 Egg Whites + Yolk)

Option 2.

1/2 Protein shake, small portion of Nuts, (excluding higher carb ones like Cashews, Chestnuts and Grapenuts), + Apple. Give the Apple 10-15 minutes to digest to improve digestion.

Very small Portion of Peanuts, some Chicken + Raw Carrott.

Lunch

Option 1.

Large Beef Sandwich with trimmings, I.E. Tomato, Lettuce, Cucumber etc.

Option 2.

Bowl of Chicken Soup, + Pot of yoghurt.

Snack

Option 1.

Turkey + Cashews

Option 2.

Ham + 2 large Tomatos

Dinner

Option 1.

Pork + mashed Potato.

Option 2.

Chicken and Mushroom with a bit of Rice

Option 3.
