Which nuts are good nuts??
I've recently started a lower-carb, higher-protein diet. I love nuts, but I don't want to overdo it and I am also confused about which ones are OK. I have heard that processed nuts are stripped of a lot of nutrition, and have bad fats added to them. Does this include all packaged or brand name nuts?...

forbidden fruits?
Barb, why do you say to keep fruits & veggies minimal? Is it because of the sugars/carbs? I am 30 years old and . One week ago I was 211 when I joined a gym for the first time. For the past week I have eaten very low-carb EXCEPT for oatmeal in the morning and fruits & veggies - lots of them....

When doing a weight-lifting circuit, is it OK to do one set on a machine, then go to another machine for a single set, etc. and then do three circuits, OR should you do all your sets of a single machine in succession?
