Measure with a tape measure instead of scale?
Wouldn't measuring yourself with a tape measure be a "true" way to find out if you've lost fat and are toning up? Obviously, if you measure in the same spot each time? Like the biggest part of your hips, thighs, button? I was just thinking of an alternative since the scale can be deceiving...

I am bummed with them but I will still do them on Saturdays... I'd like to find some alternatives to do on other legs/bottom half day. How about BB deadlifts, burpees? Tues 4/3 - not best day 6am - Protein Shake WEIGHTS - back 9am - 2 egg whites, 1/3 C oatmeal w/1 TBL ground flaxseed, cinnamon & splenda 11:30 am - Soy burger/no bun 2 pm - 2 cups Cheddar Chex mix (sigh) I know, protein! I threw the rest of the bag in garbage, I love that stuff. RAN/WALKED OUTS...

I live in a pretty hilly area and I have been riding bike outside since the weather has been awesome. What does this "count" as? I'm assuming - cardio, however, I really get a good leg workout going up those hills. I can really feel it in quads. How much is this working legs and butt? Can ...
