Re: Need help with a diet plan
Hi There, to properly advise you on the amounts you should be eating etc, we will need a little more information. I would like to say, 40% protein is generally overkill.. Judging by your caloric intake, and taking into account your HIIT as well, I would estimate you are probably about 140-160lbs. If...

LMAO get out of there!!
Doesn't help when you're trying to achieve a goal like no soda and caffeine.. Especially when Caffeine is what would keep you awake in the flipping meeting!

Re: Caloric intake on weight and rest days
Cardio is useful however when combined with heavy lifting if you're trying to increase stamina to a degree, as well as mass building and let's face it how many 200lb bodybuilders can run a marathon? You could also argue, that for some people not doing the cardio and reducing their caloric intake, c...

Re: Trying to Reject Body Shaming
You have achieved what you have achieved because you worked hard for it and you can therefore be justly proud of the way your body has changed. So you can be proud and carry on as normal. Exactly! And having a goal to work towards such as your Tough Mudder event is an excellent idea! It gives you a...

Re: Caloric intake on weight and rest days
Oh, yeah man, too high of protein is really bad for your kidneys. Body builders have been dying really young because of kidney disease. I was looking for macro calculators and the first one I found was from this celebrity status personal trainer who's calculators ended up with like, 65% protein and...

Re: Trying to Reject Body Shaming
Hi there, its funny you have posted this since it is something that I have always had a slight issue with. Since I have started working at new job, I have received a number of comments myself. Everyone always has something to say about eating clean and whatever. I therefore decided to do a test. for...

Re: Caloric intake on weight and rest days
Well with respect to the calculations, this is the calculator that I would plump for: 1percentedge.com/ifcalc/ This calculator will work out your calorie intake for rest days and workout days. It gives you exact figures, and allows you to input your goal. One thing I would like to question though is...

Re: Hitting a brick wall
Hi Tom,
I was going to mention that one.. However after the last update a lot of people were giving it bad reviews. I'm not sure what the did but it appears their community didn't like it!
Any ideas what happened?

Re: Hitting a brick wall
Thank you both Mathew and bossman, The last time I worked out I don't believe I was paying as much attention to diet as I am now. So I hope this will help with future efforts. I have started using the app called fitnesspal, which I have used before, and it counts your calories and you can total you...

Re: Perfect Fitness AB Carver pro for at Home Workout?
In all honesty friend, If i had scoliosis I wouldn't tempt fate and attempt an exercise like ab rolling. i would plump for simpler exercises to take the strain off of your back all together.

Re: Perfect Fitness AB Carver pro for at Home Workout?
I would just like to clarify, are you saying that making the movement EASIER would be a BETTER workout?
I can't follow this logic unfortunately.

Re: Perfect Fitness AB Carver pro for at Home Workout?
Hi There, Nice to have you on the site. initial thoughts would be that you do not need posh equipment to begin a fitness journey. This product, the "Ab Carver Pro" is simply a 'pretty' ab roller and I would say you can get a product that will do exactly the same for about a quarter of the ...

Re: Hitting a brick wall
Hi Again! Looking at your diet, I am very impressed. Its always good to see someone who eats whole foods a majority of the time, since it is a good way to live especially if you enjoy it! :) Here is what advice would be. Check out a calculator such as this one: www.1percentedge.com/ifcalc/ Use this ...
