The habit of exercise
All, Ever since I stopped focusing on getting six pack abs or huge arms, and started focusing on the actual HABIT of exercise, results have skyrocketed. I feel amazing, have more energy, and just in general have a better outlook on life. I honestly think that when people start exercise, they focus s...

Re: I feel bored of the gym... what to do?
grx, Don't focus on how much exercise you're doing, but instead on the fact that you are doing it. Start small, just do even 1 set of body squats and 1 set of pushups a day, forget how many reps you did too. The point is that you're actually doing the exercise. Re: How to lose fat but build muscle?

Re: Just starting
EdgarHF, Glad to see you're working on it at least! Stay positive and focus on what you've done not what you haven't done. suggestion is that you start simple, *very simple*. Set a goal to exercise everyday. That doesn't mean you work out intensely everyday, just do an exercise or two and just make ...

Re: first serious workout routine- tips??
skmcewan, I think what you'd benefit most from is a daily exercise routine that isn't very ambitious. I'd say start small, max out on one set of body squats and one set of a comprehensive abs exercise. The point isn't to add reps or show insane progress, but instead the fact that you've actually don...

Re: P90X Anyone
girlwithguns, I think one reason people usually struggle with fitness campaigns is that daily fitness isn't really an internalized concept or habit. Once people get across this barrier, then no program will stand in they way. I like to think it's kind of like the habit of brushing your teeth; if you...
