Re: Where is a good place to find a fitness trainer?
The best thing to do is do a local google search of your area. Good training companies should have a website so take a look there and see what you find.

Re: What is a good clease to use?
Cleanses are typically a waste of money. Keep eating real food and make sure you're taking a fiber supplement each night. In opinion as a trainer the only two ways you should be detoxing are: 1. Take 5 days and cut out starches, dairy, alcohol and caffeine. Eat protein, veggies and healthy fat. 2. D...

Re: Just getting started. Would appreciate your thoughts.
Hey Tanhee- Good for you for getting started. The key is to have that long term goal but break it down into short term goals (weekly, monthly). Starting out, try to get in 4 workouts each week. Right now I would suggest 2 strength training workouts and 2 conditioning/cardio workouts. For strength yo...

Re: Start weight lifting

If you add in a protein shake at night for some extra calories and protein that's totally cool. The only supplements you need in opinion are fish oil and a daily vitamin. Otherwise get lean prot...

In terms of nutrition I'd cut out the poridge in the AM and instead focus on a protein based meal. Have your carbs after your training but limit them for the rest of the day. Sounds like you're on ...

Re: HIIT, feeling better but not losing anything
I agree with all the folks above. Give yourself a few more weeks and make sure your nutrition is really dialed in. Sprints are an awesome way to burn fat but it does take a little time plus a combination of training and nutrition.
Keep up the great work and good luck!

Re: Is Acai Berry for weight loss a Scam?
Hey all, you should definitely just focus on eating real foods....lean protein, veggies, healthy fats and some carbs after your training session.
There is never one magic bullet and yes, Acai has some benefits in combination with regular nutrition and exercise but I certainly wouldn't rely on it.
