Thanks for your help. Should I be increasing weights if I am only looking to tone up and stay slender versus getting more bulk on arms?
Just wondering since I had always heard that repetitions versus weight would be the difference between keeping muscles lean versus bulking them up.

HELP with losing the last 10 POUNDS..
Any suggestions on ways to change up workouts and etc to drop the last 10 lbs? I have been struggling for years with this. Currently, I'm not so worried about diet. I eat pretty healthy- lots of proteins, fibers, fruits and vegetables and only whole grains. And I don't EAT past 6:30. In terms of wor...

Re: Why is body responding this way?
Thanks so much! The protein that I had been using is ONs Whey protein. As far as the cardio goes, do you have suggestions for what I should be doing so that I don't bulk up? I normally was doing 30-40 minutes HIIT on treadmill but felt legs bulking, so I decided to start using stair stepper and elli...

Why is body responding this way?
So here is dilemma. I've worked out for as long as I can remember...and here's how body responds... Over the past year, I have done a few things: May-September: No heavy cardio - walking 30 mins to an hour 5-7 times a week. And cutting back what I was eating-- i.e. Lots of fruits, and veggies and le...

6 weeks to lose 10lbs.
HELP! I just got asked to be in a wedding and its in 6 weeks! I am a parent and son is in daycare 3 days a week so I have roughly 3 days to get to the gym on lunch hour (actual time in the gym equates to about 40 minutes). I work 8-5 in a desk job. Other then that, workout-wise I have workout videos...

Re: Cardio & A little about what to Eat
This wasnt helpful at all, and I never even gave you a breakdown on current diet, sir. So I think what you are saying is extremely out of the element. Additionally, I do not think that it is impossible to drop something as simple as 5 pounds in a few months. I've got a pretty tiny frame, eat healthy...

Cardio & A little about what to Eat
Hey all, I am revisiting this site after a while of not being on here. I am currently a muscular build - 5'3 and 125, and I would like to drop at least 5 more in the next 3 months maybe 10 by Spring. I have an hour during lunch to workout at the gym and currently I just do a 25 minutes of cardio on ...

Re: P90x- how to add these workouts
I actually had a baby in Nov 2008, and by June 2009. Was 134 when I got pregnant, gained 25 in pregnancy, was down to 127 by June 2009. I looked absolutely fantastic because I committed to p90x. With young children, it is very challenging and difficult to find the time to commit to the workouts, but...

P90x- how to add these workouts
I apologize, if someone has asked/had this question answered, but when I typed it in the search bar, nothing came up with regards to this. I am doing p90x and found a website with roughly the amount of calories you burn doing each workout, and was wondering if there is any way to add these workouts ...

Re: Nutrition Plan
Thanks for the help- I fluctuate between 131 and 135 depending on the day.. And since I want to lose roughly 10 or so pounds, what would you recommend? I know P90 burns up a lot of calories, but I am up at 6, work full time and have the time to do it after I get son to bed at night, so sometimes it ...

Nutrition Plan
I am on the go constantly and just started P90x-lean version- for the second year in a row ( I usually do it during the summer months).
Any suggestions on a daily diet to abide by. It says that I need to get down to roughly 1450 calories a day to lose weight.
Thanks,
Andrea
