When I say that you need to change workouts every so often, I am meaning that you need to be incorporating something different so that your muscles don't adapt. The human body is the ultimate adaptor. YES this can mean more reps/sets/weight etc. When I change up workouts, it is usually in the way of...

I wanted to report gains so far...

I have gained 6lbs as of yesterday. body fat percentage has maintained!
The most exciting part of these gains has been strength growth. I have seen significant gains in EVERY area of body. For that alone, I am happy!

I would encourage you to change your workout every week. You shouldn't be doing the same muscle groups more than once a week, some exceptions, but rare. As you can see, response and RK19's workout are different. I would encourage you to realize that every body is different, some bodies will respond ...

A Sexy Back

I have come to the conclusion that a built and defined back is perhaps the sexiest attribute a lifter can have (opinion of course). So, I was hoping to get some suggestions on how you all have gained muscle and defined that back of yours. Let me know what lilfts have worked for you! I'm asking for s...

SO IT'S OFFICIAL! I have officially gained 3 pounds in 2 weeks! I gained 1.7lbs since last weigh-in, and that totals me at an official gain of 3lbs. I'm very excited, I have worked hard for that 3lbs. Haha :D Let's hope I can keep it going! To become a Nutrition Specialist, you have to undergo train...

I use it occasionally, merely for the "effects" it has on helping muscles grow. I feel fine using it. I work at a nutrition shop in a GOld's Gym, and am a Nutrition Specialist, so I know all about creatines and how they work. I feel sometimes that I can give other people all the nutrition ...

Does anyone have a solution or face wash that wont dry skin out that treats blackheads and actually works?

How much are you eating now? How much weight do you want to gain? How easily do you gain MUSCLE weight? Are you consistently eating every 2 hours a day? Unless you are training for a triathlon or marathon, 3 hours a day is too much, you don't want to burn muscle! Also, you need to cut your cardio. T...

I cannot even get to bed till around midnight every day. Of course I must eat after 8! I agree with Chris, it keeps your metabolism running during the night, just keep it a lean protien meal. Also, it will help your muscle restoration while you are sleeping.

May I suggest Glutamine. It really really helps your muscle restoration. Try taking a bath with Epsom Salt in the water. I take Glutamine every day, it is awesome. Oh, and I agree with all the above statements, they are all accurate! Oh, and just because you are sore does NOT mean you are over worki...

Okay, workouts have been going like this. I do a full body workout 4x/week. Only 2 days cardio max. ALL of lifting excersizes are at max out weight, or reps-to-fail. I think it important to keep in mind that EVERY BODY IS DIFFERENT. There are things that will work for you that won't work for others....

I too am trying to put on a lot of muscle mass in a short amount of time. A few pointers: 1. Eat every two hours, NEVER miss 2. Eat a protein, healthy carb and veggie in EVERY meal 3. As swanson said, DONT workout without eating first 4. You should be exhausted/immobily sore the next day from your w...
