what exactly are compound exercises?

i use free weights, (arms, back, chest)
some machines (usually for quads and calves)
and i do squats and lunges with dumbbells
use the incline bench for sit ups -using weights

those sort of things

i'm 5'4
about 119 pounds
age 17

5 meals a day plan HELP

does anyone have any suggestions for nutritious, 300 calorie or less meals? and/or mealplans?

snacks that are 300 calories or less?

i'm trying to eat 5 times a day but i dont know how much is a portion size for that, and what i should be eating when!

i live in a small community with a gym right here down the street which consists of a couple of machines, dumbells, and numerous cardio machines.

i do abs everyday, then switch between back, chest, and arms, -and butt, thighs, calves, and core exercises

i'm trying to get in the BEST shape possible here was diet for yesterday, i eat this much, and this healthy give or take a little on average i try to hit the gym everyday. this includes cardio 30 min and every other day i do strength training for about 40 min breakfast- milk, cereal, banana, oatmeal...
