Re: C-tina's work out blog!
It's been a lil while since I've posted so here's what's been going on. grandmother's health has been declining so I have spent some time taking her to hospitals, ers and doctors. I haven't had a steady routine yet with the workouts bc of it and trying to have a social life to take mind off it. However on a good note, last nite was the first time since injury that I have been able to jog 3 miles straight! !! What a feeling that was! A girl I vaguely know, had actually asked for help bc she is at her biggest and needs the motivation. So, I plan to do the workout routine I started with when I worked out at the other gym 2 yrs ago. I told her I'm doing it with her since I can't run every day yet bc of the foot but I can still do the heart rate interval training with dumbbells. Since upper body went to hell with this desk job. So today I plan to get back onto that for the week so I can train her. I'm really excited! I won't be working out with her on a regular basis since we live far apart and go to different gyms. It's just amazing that someone came to me even after weight gain and struggling to get back on track.

Christina, I hope things work out for you on all regards.
I'm sending you a BIG HUG and I wish you GOOD LUCK. You're a wonderful human being and I am still very, very proud of you for never giving up on yourself and for believing in yourself so much.
You should be proud of yourself for that, because you've earned the right to be

Re: C-tina's work out blog!
Been off the radar for a while. Been dealing with grandma's health then went on a week vacation. Also, a new love life developed.
I am signed up for a race a month. Today is 1st of 20 butt and gut classes. After that boot camp classes start. I was so upset with the weight gain from trip. That's 29 pounds since last summer I put on. Then last Saturday I was finally able to run a 7 min mile so I figured it's time to kick butt since I could handle that with foot. I lost 2 pounds so far. Mt first race is on the 6th of april. A 5k. boyfriend and I are getting our bikes fixed and will be going on trails once the weather warms up. Can't wait to see this take shape! The butt and gut class is tues, Thurs, and saturday. So excited to do this tonight!

Re: C-tina's work out blog!
But and gut sounds a bit extreme. In Britain you'd have classed called bums, legs and tums, but I admit butt and gut sounds a bit of a coarse name for something.
GOOD LUCK with the race and everything right now, I'm proud of you no matter what you do because I am absolutely convinced you will one day soon achieve your physical aims, because I want you to feel as beautiful as you are are on the inside, because you are worth it

Thank you so much bossman for your on going support. It helps more than words could express. The class was awesome. It was a small independently owned place. The trainer was really nice and I liked the small class of 6. It's made it more one on one. I had a lot of fun. Work has a free yoga class and I decided to bring stuff and go to that too.

Good luck with your workout classes this spring! I feel simliar to you that i have a foot injury and also regained some weight this winter but am also on the mend. Would you want to do a friendly weight loss competition this spring with me and whoever else wants to join??
we could just post our before and afters and journal when we want and our weight and then we could have the forum readers vote on who has the most results?? Would be more fun if we could get more than 2 people though. LOL
I'm not a fast weight loss person either so it might not be much of a competition. just a thought anyways.

Thats a cool idea. We could post our end of the week results like every Sunday or monday. Talk about what we did that week food and workouts to exchange ideas too. I like that a lot.

We should make a thing under weight loss and make a title to get others to join. Maybe like "2014 weight loss competition" just basic guidelines of weight ins once a week. What we struggled with what we achieved type thing.
Re: C-tina's work out blog!
Doing the yoga at work sounds like a good thing if you can fit it in, so I'd definitely endorse that as an option as it's free

Re: C-tina's work out blog!
The workout competition I will set up Monday. I wish this site had a photo uploader for the blogs bc I don't have enet at home and I order to post pics I have to go somewhere for free wifi to make it work. So after work Monday I will set it up. I want to do monthly body measurements and weekly weigh ins. I figured one pic every month at the end of the month for side by side comparison too.

Re: C-tina's work out blog!
The only thing is i predict it will probably just be me and you competing.
So maybe instead we could just agree to post weekly are losses or gains. and post progresses pictures monthly just like you suggested?? Up to you though i'm all for a friendly competition too if you want to do that too.
