Great job on getting your walk in, Chris! I love Rick Riordan's Tres Navarre books for grown-ups, but haven't read any of his books for younger readers. A family book club sounds like a neat idea. Hope things are going well for your dad.

Great workouts for you, Sue! Sounds like you have some fun projects to do before Thurs. :)

Yay on the strength training and the clean house, Bama! Thanks for the laugh on leaving something for your DH to do next time he demonstrates his good timing.

Quick strength workout for me today.

Happy Monday, Sweat Sisters~

Good Morning SiS,
Sue the line from last post should read "preping for" not "peeping for" DH's big day. Doh!
Apparently I should be ready for the time change. I am exhausted by 9PM and awake at 3AM. Of course once the time change hits that should go to pot. I did walk home last night and I am walking again this morning. We have dipped into a freeze with lots of warnings. :chilly: Still I ended up being too warm on walk.
Good workout for you FitMo! I read through the WOW posts yesterday to see what has been going on. Hugs for you as you deal with your DA. You are amazing! Dad starts his treatments today. I will check on them tonight or tomorrow to see how things are going. I will have to check out that other series when I am done with these.

Morning sisters,

On tap for today is Evening workout walking/jogging in place/dancing plus RLW of vacuuming. I will love it again when I get a new one! Seems every time we plan something else pops up.

Great walk at lunch. Yeah I seen more cold weather for many portions of our areas back east and in the south too.

I will have to check out Rick Riordian as I haven't read any of his books.

Oh I see from Molasses, that he writes for adults and children. Yes, lots of little things for him for his birthday. Plus his jeans should be in so will be able to have something for him to open too LOL

Oh no worries, Chris I figured you meant prepping instead.

Yikes on your body clock, but then again it's only 2 weeks away so makes sense. I HATE losing hour LOL

I see more walking last night and this a.m. too. BRR on those freeze warnings, it was actually cold for us here last night in the mid 30s. I see your dad starts his treatments today, have been doing extra prayers for him.

Bama, enjoy your visitors and trip this weekend.

Angii, hope all is going well.

Dianna, if you look in.....HI and keep up with those workouts even if the gym is closed, do some at home.

Well I am off to check mail, eat, vacuum and get a bunch of those things I have on list for today done,

Sue

Hey gals,
We headed out and braved the cold air at lunch time. A little shorter walk probably 20 minutes.
Later!

Great job on getting those workouts in, Chris and Sue. I know Bama has company, so she has been MIA with me.

I'll be praying your dad's treatment goes well, Chris. Thanks for the hugs. Goodness knows I needed them today. DA passed peacefully in her sleep this morning. I was holding her hand when she went, and telling her how much we all love her. She was not in pain, so it was really a blessing all around. But it's hard to think that she is gone now.

Sweet dreams, Sweat Sisters~

Oh FitMo!!! condolences to you and your family dear friend. Hugs to you. She was a very lucky woman to have you these past few years.

Last night for me a quick body weight workout of pushups, leg raises and squats. A 20 minute walk to work today so far.

Thanks for your hugs and prayers, Chris and Sue. I guess aunt and I were both lucky to have had each other all those years. It's just weird for me now--an increasingly large percentage of thoughts and time the past 5 years have centered around DA and what she needed. Now that's gone. I almost feel like I just got fired from a job that I spent a lot of time trying to do right. :( But you just have to keep moving forward, right?

Yay on the strength training and walk, Chris!

I see lots of walking for you today, too, Sue. :thumb: Good luck with your shopping.

Ashley Turner's Yoga for Flexibility this morning. Felt good to be in body and out of head a little bit.

Have a great day, everyone~

Hi ladies,

I emailed the Grocery Report and what's been happening this week earlier.

Molasses, yes it's hard to realize you have all the time now and you aren't caring for someone. You did a lot more for your DA than we did for Buddy Max but as I said in emails to you we have a lot of extra time now we sometimes don't know what to do with ourselves.

Know it's not the same as you and your DA but I am hoping you get what I am trying to say...I'm tired and not writing as clearly as I probably should LOL

Yes, keep moving forward and remember all the wonderful years fondly and her too.

Thanks on the shopping wishes, they worked very very well as you will see.

Great workout today.

Well off to comics, card for Chuck (the special one, his from me are already done)

Good Morning All,
I did get 20 minute walk home last night but nothing else. I am again walking today so another 20 minutes to work this morning. I need to go back through March plan as I may have been to ambitious. I have a couple of days to tweak it to work with life.

Happy Birthday to Chuck!! Sue you can pass that on for me. Hope your moving and grooving went well last night.

Great yoga workout FitMo! You may find that your workouts are even more of a balm as you heal your heart. More hugs from me.

Bama hope you are doing well and enjoying your company.

Good afternoon, Sweat Sisters,

Great workout, Sue! I had such a crush on Bobby Sherman thanks to "Here Come the Brides" many years ago. Thanks for the memory jogger this morning. :) Thanks for the hugs, too. I decided yesterday that I need to start a meditation practice; I've tried before and it quickly falls by the wayside, but I really could use it now, so this time I will make it stick. Between that and yoga, I should be able to find happy place again. I do totally get what you were saying, and I agree 100%.

Good job on getting those walks in, Chris. I have every confidence you'll get March figured out. Thanks for the hugs; they do help!

Today I tried a weight workout that Boss Man posted in another forum: 2 sets, 10 reps of squats, lunges, deadlifts, bent over rows, chest press, shoulder shrugs, and then 2 sets of 30 sec. plank holds, front and side.

Have a great day, everyone!

Hi sisters,

Molasses, me too, I loved Bobby Sherman as I too watched him on Here Comes the Brides too and when he was on the Partridge family too. Plus I loved his songs. Like yourself had a big crush on him too! I am glad I gave you a good memory jogger this a.m. Hoping the meditation sticks this time. Hmmm sounds like a good workout.

Hey there Bama, missed ya but glad you and your company had a nice time bummer on the rain as I know the fellows like to play golf. Enjoy the trip Bama, and hoping for lots of sales for you from B&BW's too. I will add some extra walking minutes for you along with the "booty shaking" LOL

Yeah Monday will be the start of a new month of workouts, I need get off patootie and make up report and schedule for next month....so much to do so little time LOL

Well I am off to check some more boards before I am outta here for the day and do more "birthday stuff" for the birthday boy!
