thank you as always boss man. :)

the last few days have been rough with food. bfs mom made way too many perogies and I ate too many of them. there are still so many staring at me. well his mom and dad left for a trip today so I am going out to buy ground turkey, chicken, fruit and veggies. I'm throwing out the perogies, and the pumpkin pie. that's one thing I am really excited about with this move is that I will control what is in kitchen. I won't have junk anymore. it will be so nice. for dinner tonite I'm making turkey burgers. I'm still undecided about the side dish. I want veggies but I want to do something different. any suggestions out there for a good veggie side dish that's not just ur plain corn or broccoli? I want to try something new.

Corn is a grain, just to clear that up

For side dishes why not try some boiled mushed carrot. Boiling combined with mushing, has been shown to release 90% of the stored Beta-carotene, versus eating a raw carrot, which yields 30%.

thanks for the tip bm!

i just finished a workout created by yours truly and called it get your back in gear. lol i began with a two mile jog the first mile at a 4.5speed then the second mile at a first ever 5.5speed! then i used boyfriend as timer to show him the crazy creative ways of using the treadmill Shelly ( former trainer) showed me. thank you Shelly! then i put together own small circuit training to finish
which included planks, side planks( planks are still really weak but i will get there!), lunges, squats, bicep curls, shoulder presses, and up right rows. even though life is going in another direction now, it doesn't mean its time to slack on workouts. i have to give a shout out to shelly, tom, natalie, and dom for giving me this jump start and teaching me the tools to last a life time. hence lifetime fitness. ;) i will miss how you guys made it fun and changed it up everyday. i am so happy that i had the chance to have people like you train me who you can clearly see have a love for what they do. thank you!

needless to say i got sweat on. it felt good knowing that i was able to motivate myself and know how to do the exercises properly on own today and still got in a intense workout! i was able to find a two month membership on groupon for only 20dollars! i will use it in October after i move. then after the two months are up look for another place. lol! i need to save money as much as i can anywhere and anyway possible.

so this morning...I decided to weigh myself. I have been afraid to because I haven't been to the gym in almost three weeks. I am still at 224. its probably lower since I'm bloated today from that lovely time of the month Lmao! ha ha. I'm happy though to know that I can now maintain it since eating habits have changed and the way I think about food has changed. it still takes a lot of work to not allow self to fall back but everyday is a step closer to goal. :)

I'm proud of you for this. You've taken the reigns and shown initiative and you are now implementing prior knowledge for your own benefit. You've proven something to yourself, which is, when you are out of that comfort zone and potentially don't initially know what to do, you work out what to do, instead of settling for a generic situation response like forget it, or oh well never mind, nice while it lasted.

You have therefore placed as much emphaiss on your wellbeing as you did before and this will work well for you in the future and I now believe you potentially have what it takes to do this
on your own and make it work.

WELL DONE :).

thank you boss man! guess what surprise I got this morning? today is an extra jean day for department so I decided to try on a pair I haven't been able to fit in in two years. even last month I tried them on there was inches before the button could even come close to the hole. today...they zipped up with ease! I went from a 22 in march to a 16today. its such an amazing feeling and sense of accomplishment. I'm so proud of myself. last nite before bed I got in a short 1mile jog. prepping for another 5k that's on September 1st. I'm so excited.

thank you! your day will come sooner than you will expect. :D

woo hoo!!!! went for a three mile jog today! when i did race at the end of june time was 11.61 min a mile. today i did 10.66min a mile! i took a route i tried to take last year. i had to keep a mental block at this one part that i always stopped at. every time i finished the first mile i was dead. it was too hard to go any further so i just walked the rest. as i was jogging it i kept saying to myself your not stopping this time. when i completed the turn and kept going....i smiled the biggest smile i think face can handle. lol! such a big accomplishment so far this year!

You have even more reason to be smiling in the second picture misses. You look really beautiful and you are DEFINITELY moving things in the right direction. I am so happy for you.

I'm sending you a BIG PAT ON THE BACK.

Proud seriously doesn't even begin to cover it and I KNOW you will reach size 12 and go beyond that, because I have total and unwavering belief in you.

I hope you never stop smiling again, because when you do, I think the whole universe gets a little brighter :).

WELL DONE.

unfortunately it has been six weeks since I have been in the gym. I had to cancel the membership since I will no longer be in the area. school has been taking up all time. I had no idea how busy I would be taking a compressed 8 week online class and a 16 week on campus class would be. psychology class is nothing but reading reading and oh ya more reading. I do enjoy it but I have no time for myself to relax. at work all three breaks are reading I get home I read until bed. the weekend I allow myself a few hours to spend with someone other than book. however, I am still doing great with earring habits. I am still at 224. as long as I can continue to maintain the weight until this psychology class is over to find a gym again I will be ok. it feels good knowing I have disciplined myself enough to not fall back into the old habits because of the stress from all this school work and the move to apartment next week. (I was suppose to be in last month but the dates were mispoken long story). I have been enjoying myself more and eatting better when I'm out with friends...I pay attention most of all to the AMOUNT of food I eat. at dinner I still use the tiny plate instead of the huge dinner plate so I don't take more of what eyes can take vs stomach. I may not be loosing weight for the time being but I am still making great progress with other things. like providing a roof over head, going to school, keeping a new job that I acquired this year, keeping a more positive mind set on life, and keeping up with the better eatting habits. I am so happy where I am today. :)
