Ha! Too bad, I no longer understand "snail" mail - you'll have to visit - or maybe when I get to Tampa

Tonight did 2 miles on the treadmill at 3.7 mph, incline 3 - legs are a bit rubbery, but it feels good! I can just feel the fat on those thighs sliding off...lol

Crazy Day tomorrow! Will ( workout buddy) is coming at 9 AM, Fitness Solutions will be here to treadmill at 10 (making some noises, nothing serious) and at the same time someone is coming to tune the piano! Not sure how I'm going to handle that - both are in completely different spaces in the house and neither of them have been to the house before. Additionally our propane gas company is coming (hopefully no sooner than 11 ) to investigate what they need to do for us to install our generator. Then off to a wake at 5 - and our annual holiday dinner for Sons of Italy at 6:30. I'm bringing the door prizes and still need to wrap one.

Food change - tonight's snack is *as we speak* celery and PB - yum!

Have a great evening!

Quite a day you have ahead of you! Don't forget to eat, and try to get your workout in earlier in the a.m. (maybe before Will gets there) or at least the biggest part of it. If the piano tuner is at one end of the house and your workout partner and treadmill repair guy is at the other end, then the gas company is knocking at the door, you will definitely get your cardio in, just by running back and forth between everyone! :P

Already I haven't eaten yet, but will do so for sure! I have great leftover cod for today :) Tonights dinner I chose chicken (can you imagine choosing chicken at one of the best Italian Restaurants around!) Today is Cardio only for me - and I have to admit I'm am aching all over from yesterday - but I think I will do some HIIT (5 intervals) after the fitness guys, piano tuner and Will leave. That will allow body to catch up. Speaking of body, I lost another pound!!!
Yeah!!! 167!! <--now 167 isn't anything to crow about but I haven't been this low for a VERY long time! The lowest I've gotten was 168 (only a lb  ) but it's an extra one I didn't want. Woo Hoo!!!

Thank you!!!

Well, today wasn't so bad after all....so far. Treadmill is fixed, piano is tuned and the gas company came around 11 and we don't have to dig (again!) to install the generator. All good news!
Which of course left me plenty of time to get on that treadmill :)

HIIT - 5 Intervals at 6.3 mph incline 3 for 30 secs
Recovery intervals were 3.7 mph at incline 2 for 1.5 minutes
5 Minutes at 2.2 mph at -0- incline
20 minutes at 3.9 mph incline 3.

Felt great!

Made another batch of homemade protein bars - cut them in half right off the bat this time - put most of them in the freezer.

Breakfast was Oatmeal with flax, cinnamon a little soy milk, snack was 1/2 protein bar (couldn't resist warm freshly made ones)

After Cardio - Cod with asparagus, broccoli and a little rice.

Will probably have some LF cheese and almonds in 2 hours, then out to dinner. Hopefully THAT will go well - if only I can resist dessert I'd be good

Have a great day!

The piano was fathers......he was an excellent player. I've dabbled as I have on the guitar - but can't categorize me as a "player" in either one :) I came from a very musical family ( I sang)- maybe I can get grandson to play :) <---that's goal!

Thank you guys! I'm re-energized!

LP - the piano is now tuned so come on down! Or up! :)

Low Hurdle Steps - over BB 30" high
1) Front Steps 3 x 10
2) Side Steps 3 x 10
3) Back Steps 3 x 10
Bosu Squats - 3 x 10
Good Mornings 3 x 10 ( 45 lb. Bar only)

Hula Hooped 12 minutes (3 lb Hoop)
Jumping Rope - Just getting the feel of one - haven't done it in years!! Wasn't bad!

Last nights dinner turned out just ok - had chicken over pasta (took half home) Salad, 4 rings of calamari, messed up and ate the tiramasou (very small piece) I'm sure I've misspelled it  as in oops all around.

Still weighed 167 this AM - hope to stay that way or less!

Had Cheerios for breakfast with shot of Mona Vie

1/2 Protein Bar after massage

Finished chicken meal leftover from last night for lunch with shot of Mona Vie

Worked Out

The other half of the protein bar and a protein shake (love those strawberry shakes!)

I forgot - I did attempt to do planks today - 1 prone plank holding for 30 secs <seems to be the most I can do these days. But the side planks were impossible for me! I did 2 flimsy ones...They were pretty easy before - not that I did them alot - but no problems aside from length of holding. It really hurt today - using other muscles lately - who knows. arms are sore - I've been doing single arm rows (both sides) that I hadn't done in awhile.... body need to get back into the swings of things :) Next week is physical therapist meeting - can't wait!

Will canceled today, said he felt like he was run over by a Mack Truck! Think I'm working him too hard? :) Actually he thinks he may be coming down with something - we'll see.

I did delay Cardio today, but did it none the less, with or without a workout buddy I'm determined. I have to admit I'm feeling quite sore myself! :)

HIIT - 5 intervals at 6.3 mph, incline 3, recovery intervals at 3.7 mph incline 2, 5 minutes at 2.2 mph - then 20 minutes at 3.9 mph incline 3. legs are rubbery at the end of these things and legs definitely feel the results. I've started to watch TV while I'm on the treadmill vs listen to music - seems to make the time go by faster - News of course! It's the only way I can keep up with everything that's going on :)

Food

Had Mini Shredded Wheat (unsweetened) w/FF Milk and scoop or Vanilla Protein.

After workout had a slice of melon (cantelope) with 4 oz of LF and a handful of almonds.

While making lunch I had some celery with PB (was starving and didn't want to make the wrong choices!)

Sauteed a hamburger mixture (95% FF) with onions and green pepper, added red kidney beans and crushed tomatoes - seasoned - poured mixture over Eden Organic Small Vegetable Shells. Put a little LF shredded cheese on top. Yummy! It was a small bowl.

Took out some mini chicken and Apple Sausages for dinner - will probably make something simple, with veggie and salad - maybe even leftover hamburger mixture.

Have a great day!

He probably underestimated your workout level!! ha! Oh, by the way, make sure you wipe down all your equipment handles and stuff with some hand sanitizer in case he is sick....you don't need to get sick too!

I always sanitize after each use - guess it's a habit learned and practiced at the gym that I felt was good practice! I told Will if he WAS sick not to come tomorrow! :)

Not a great day today. Will came (not sick) but a friend who works at the bank was driving by and stopped to say Hi~! It was great to see her but Will worked out and left, and after friend left I was busy doing other things. The good news is I did work out (just finished 9:30 PM) bad news is it was a watered down version. Anyhoo....

Low hurdle Steps overs, side steps and step backs 2 x 10 each.
Bosu Ball Squats 2 x 10
Lunges 1 x 10 BW, 1 x 10 15 lb DB's
Step Ups - tons!
Single Arm Rows - 3 x 15 (25 lb DB's - right arm (both arms but right arm more) is really sore between shoulder and elbow, so reduced weight - I'm not really sure if I should be using right arm at all right now....?!
Shoulder Press 3 x 10 15 lb DB - left only
Lat Pull Downs - 70 lbs 3 x 10

Fooled around with the Swiss Ball (s) trying the different sizes out - I got another one! This one was in honor of Lesplease - it's PINK!!! I couldn't resist :)

Done for the night - Will is coming in the morning at 9 - Cardio!!!! Good Night!

Ooops - almost forgot - Food was the worst part of the day (I think)

Protein Drink for Breakfast

2 Eggs - 1 slice of Whole Grain Bread (Dark German) with natural PB

Left over hamburger mixture with veggie shells for lunch

Apple & 1/2 of homemade Protein Bar

Before Dinner Snack - celery with PB

Chinese Take Out - Pork Almond Ding - shared one combo meal (pork fried rice and egg roll)with hubby - more like 65/35 <--me at 35% but I had a whole egg roll.

Writing it down it doesn't look THAT bad - I'm about to have some almonds and LF Cheese as a snack before bed.
