Right now I am so darn proud of you misses. WELL DONE. I can totally understand why you might have felt the need to jump in the air. I bet in the past you may have doubted, if there would be a time you could jump that high :).

I have never had the urge to do one of those, though of course it has crossed mind before, but I feel I put enough into week, without trying to do too much.

However I want to build on this success of yours, by putting it into a context you might not have realised before.

You might want to look at it as beating a few 10's of people, or maybe a couple of hundred, or whatever out of however many showed up, but think of it this way.

Ever since the first 5k was ever run some place, there have been many, many people all over the world, that have had the time and money to do one and enter it.

You have beaten all the ones that didn't bother.

You have beaten all the ones that tried to train for one, but had to pull out through injury or lack of motivation.

You have beaten all the ones that ran one, but have never had an official placing equal to or better than yours.

In short, you have not just beaten a handful of people; you have beaten millions of people and one of those people is me and if I was to be beaten at something by anyone, there is absolutely no shame or disgrace, in me being beaten by someone as emotionally beautiful and charming as you Christina and I have no qualms for a second about coming second best to you misses, none whatsoever.

You are a STAR :).

Keep up the hard work and keep on believing, because the greatest you imaginable, Is starting to happen.

Time for an update. well, friday was the first day of team fit and needless to say the trainer was rude. i did not like her. i wont bash her so i will leave out the details. on monday i decided to go to an earlier class that she didn't teach. this one, is the guy who taught team fit at the same time as weight loss. we combined classes before and hes taken over class a few times. it was good knowing he would be trainer from now on. unfortunately he wasn't there but the lady who teaches weight loss (not previous trainer) was taken over both classes. she was cool. i liked her a lot. tomorrow being a holiday, i have to go to the 9am class. i don't know who will be teaching but i sure as hell hope its not that other woman because she was a joke. the old me, wouldn't of been so bold as to leave her class. i would of just put up with it because of the crap i put up with in the past. the new me however, feels otherwise. with how much im paying, and how having the positive attitudes surrounding me before to help me stay motivated, i didn't want to fall down hill when i worked so damn hard to get up. it was funny, because she passed me in the hall way and looked me in the eye and then kept walking. this was before the class. that right there made me happy with decision.

in other news, i recently purchased a new heart rate monitor by polar and fell in love! i just got done using it in cardio work out. it works beautifully. if you use a heart rate monitor regularly, trust me in saying its worth dropping the extra cash on something that works properly. i went through 3 others before caving and buying this. i wish i would of just done it from the beginning.

this sunday, i will be having fit point done again. to refresh your memory, its a series of tests to determine where you stand in body age, strength, flexibility, body fat percentage ect. when i get results i will post a comparison. i cant wait to see the improvement. if it isn't much, i wont care because i feel so much better and i know over time it will only improve down the line. I am excited to see how it goes.

i dont think i had left anything out, if so i will add more later. its time for bed so i can have a good nites rest before the morning workout tomorrow. :)

i had one hell of a work out this morning. i don't think i have ever sweat as much as i had today. I ran 1 mile on the treadmill, walked 50flights of stairs, and biked 5miles in only 33mins! I don't think it could of been any more intense. cool part, former trainer was there to teach it! screw it, as far as i am concerned she will always be trainer regardless if i am in her class on a regular basis or not. she has been so motivating and helpful. :D

Way to get your sweat on! Awesome workout! I can't imagine 50 flights of stairs, and a run on top of it

it was tough. i do want to clear up that it was on that stair master. so i know its easier than actually climbing the stairs but still, 50 floors is 50 floors. lol. as it got closer to the end, i sped up the machine to get it done and over with. i saw sweat up and down arms, legs, everywhere. it was crazy!

That machine looks like a bit of a beast. It also looks like quite a gap between the bottom and floor, I imagine people would have ot take care getting of it, incase they misjudged the depth of the drop :P.
