Ha!!! He was kinda cute but VERY young! :)

I must admit workout suffered wtih everything going on at the house including setting up all the Christmas stuff, tree as well, but this is what I did do:

Roam Roller - glutes, hams, calves, hips, shoulders/upper back
Front steps over BB 30 inches high - 2 x 10
Side Steps 2 x 10
Back Steps 2 x 10 - These steps sound lightweight but they sure get me going. I see a world of improvement from when I started doing them. At first when I would step over with one foot I would then bring the other over and use both to steady myself before stepping over again. I now balance on the one foot, do not require steadying myself -and then step over again. Clearly core is more stable.

Bosu Ball - Squats 2 x 10 - another one where I've improved tremendously - a year ago I couldn't stand on a Bosu ball for a second (sorry if I'm repeating myself!)
Lat Pulldowns 70 lbs. 2 x 10
Shoulder Press 15 lb DB's 2 x 10

I had to stop - BUT I went to the Mohegan Sun Wolfs Den last night and danced like crazy to the sound of "Sugar" a local band that was really good! You can google them and listen to some of the tunes :) Anyway, I got a workout!!!!

Food has been good. Yesterday I had whole grain cereal for breakfast with scoop of protein powder (vanilla). then yogurt and almonds, then 1/2 of fairly thick boneless pork chop with spinach and salad. I worked out, then scoop of protein powder mixed with water. Went out so dinner was delayed - brought some almonds with me, and ate them with a couple of drinks :( Then had some shrimp cocktail 5-6 of them, with some veal parmesean, visited VIP section for food(not because of me!) Drank lots of water.

I'm sore today!!

I love your life, Lu!! :D Always interesting, full of zest and fun, but still time to concentrate on your health and fitness. Everyday is an adventure, that is so cool!
Good job on the core strength improvement! Keep it up girl! sent you a reply PM :)

Not right now  But YES!!!! Sick aren't we? :) The other reason legs might be sore is I did (purposely) walk up and down 15 steps 10 times! Just going up to gym is an exercise in itself - anyway that's step ups! I completely forgot :(

Today was not a good day (other than health and fitness) just a bunch of annoying things that will pass for sure.....but I ate good, and it's Cardio tonight - not sure what I'll do, it'll depend on legs - but I'm due for some HIIT! I should be at 5 intervals this week even though Tuesday I did steady Cardio.

Have a good evening - I'm still doing Christmas stuff....and I'm not anywhere near where I should be and we don't go ALL out with presents (cept grandkids of course  )... it's a great family time.

Today

Foam Roller - hips, glutes, hams, quads, shoulder and upper back - shins and calves.
Side Steps (over BB 30 inches high) 1 x 10, Front steps 1 x 10, Back Steps 1 x 10
Bosu Ball - Squats 2 x 10
Cradle Walk 1 x 10
Leg Pull Kick Backs 1 x 10
Planks 1 front, 2 sides 30 secs.
Lat Pulls - 70 lbs. 2 x 10
Shoulder Press 2 x 10 (15 DB's left side only)
Good Mornings 2 x 10 45 lb Bar Only
Single Arm Rows - 35 lbs. 2 x 10

Had some Raisin Bran for breakfast with scoop of protein and 1/2 cup Vanilla Soy Milk

Worked out

Protein powder and water (Love Strawberry!)

2 eggs, 1/2 boneless pork chop with 1 slice Dark Brown German Bread with a little Natural PB

100 cal pack of almonds (was out longer than expected)

Came home had more almonds and yogurt (low sugar stuff)

Realized I didn't eat much today and am going out tonight to dinner at a very good restaurant - the one we go to on our anniversary every year, but it's not our anniversary :) I hope to be able to eat the right things - I'm friends with the restaurant maanger so maybe he can help me! As a matter of fact he will be joining me at home gym 4-5 days a week, so he KNOWS the deal :) Hope he does come that often, it will help keep me on track - when I'm home alone and have all day, it's easy to say, not now, maybe later

EDIT UPDATE********** Dinner didn't turn out as well as I would have liked ( fault of course!) I had pea soup (yummy!) and chose the chicken Margharita (only chicken dish on the menu) but the dessert was a Sticky Toffee Custard of some sort - light and fluffy was what sold me, it was to die for!!! Shared a bottle of white wine with husband - all in all wasn't THAT bad, but I need to stay home - no dinners out!! Tomorrow restaurant manager has confirmed he will be here for his workout - we will have to work especially hard (I know it doesn't work that way, but what the hey?) :)

I have been able to maintain lowest weight - no gain at this point - definitely need to firm up and lose the excess baggage around the tummy and hips! I AM WORTH IT and I WILL DO IT!! (Just a little Self Inspiration!) :)

friend came over this morning and he will be here next week everyday but 1 at 9 AM - yes! A set schedule, that will help me a bunch! Always good to have a workout buddy! Because of me he won't sleep in - because of him I won't procrastinate.:)

Worked Out

4 oz LFCC & Almonds

2 Chicken and Apple Sausages, with Spinach and salad

I workout best with friends. It sometimes, with the right people, turns into a competition, and makes me do more than I thought I could. Have fun!

Sounds good huh? Aidells make 'em - they are soooo good!

Brentyboy - I drool when I just think about those protein bars - I'm going to have to workout (weights) EVERY day! LOL

Today ended up on the treadmill - did the 4 interval at 6.3 mph, 5 minutes slow then 3.9 mph for 20. I'll start the 5 intervals on Tuesday next normal Cardio day.

Have a great evening!

I have a long way to go to keep up with you and Lynne - but I really need to get more focused on Cardio - especially with some limitations with weights due to shoulder - throws me off :(

Went shopping today (can't believe it's only 19 days to Xmas!) and while I was checking out I had this crazy urge for ice cream, almost the same feeling I had when I use to drive past Dunkin Donuts in the morning when I was driving to work and the bagels and coffee were calling to me - you know what I mean?? When I got home I pulled some celery out of the fridge and spread a bit of PB on it and ate that instead! And I do have ice cream (light & sherbet) in the house - I will get through the holidays, I will get through the holidays, I WILL! :):)

Plan to do steady Cardio later today - need to wrap presents and go shopping some more! After all I wouldn't want any excuses not to use treadmill
