Have felt low energy yesterday, and today. Weird numbers yesterday:
Prot.--30%
Carb--36%
Fat--35%
Sugar 61.3g
Total calories=2237 Likely a lil higher, as I'm sure I miss small items every now and again. Very sedintary day at work, alot of sitting. Very busy from sat-tues this past weekend, but that is very typical.

High fat (peanuts, 1/2 pizza slice,) and looked at the package of ground beef she bought, and its only 90% lean. We were buying direct from a beef farmer, and she claimed it was 100% lean, but I've always called it 5% fat, as I think they have to mix in some to hold it together....I could be wrong. Will cut back on the nuts today to keep fat% in the mid 20's, and will contact farmer to get some higher quality beef.

Body is tired, and sore from lifting, splitting/stacking firewood, football with the boys, volleyball etc.
Could this maybe be why you are tired the last couple of days :)

Yea, perhaps, but I'm always busy. The most unusual part is the firewood, but only worked on that a little at a time....but its possible.

Fri.(YAY) 4-23-10 (Thanks, Joc)

Weight--189.0

It appears weight has stabilized between 188 and 190. Removing the sugars, and the resulting calorie reduction, has dropped weight roughly 6-8 lbs. I guess to drop further weight, I will have to pick-up some HIIT, or reduce calories, probably carbs.

Need to plan weekend appropriately, as we have our play-off game on Sun.

For those who believe in prayer, Please pray for mates niece. She is late 20's, and went in to have a bloodclot removed from her arm. She didn't want to, as she didn't want a scar. Somehow a flesh-eating bacteria got in. Since then she has lost a breast, her left arm, and a majority of the skin on her left side. She is fighting for her life, and in an induced coma. If she survives she will wake up to alot more to deal with than a scar. Her name is Jess. Thanks.

Yuh, really sad. mate (the guy who does job on mon-wed) is pretty upset, and has been in the hospital visiting her alot. He was talking to her yesterday, and her bottom lip quivered, and they said last night she wiggled a toe. They have to keep going in every so many hours, and seeking out more dead skin, and cutting it out. She's late 20's, no kids, never been married, really sweet girl. Worked her way through, I think it was nursing school, as her fam doesn't have alot of $$. Makes me thankful, to be healthy, despite some aches, and pains. It could always be alot worse.

Thanks again to everyone......you guys/gals ROCK.... 8)

That is very difficult to read, as obviously you don't envisage that can happen to people.

It will be very tough for them, but if she can pull through then I am sure she will have plenty of people there for her. When your mate needs to, I'm sure he can count on you. You're a good man and I am in no doubt you will do the right things if needs be, but you need to remember not to get too involved. It could be tempting to become too active in their personal difficultes, but if it causes issues in your life, it's no good for you and then if you become less of a person to yourself, you become less of a person to them too, reducing your ability to be on top of things for yours and their sakes.

So hopefully you can find a sensible balance, because this could ultimately spill over into your life too, because he's a mate.

GOOD LUCK to you and all concerned :).

Thanks for alll the prayers and kind words, and the good advice, Boss :) This is the third day, they haven't found any bacteria. As you say Boss, even if she lives through it, she will still have huge battles ahead. It's a big, close family, so she will have tons of support. Thanks again.

Sat. 4-24-10

Weight--188.2

Supersets, 60 sec. rest, in this order

E-5
Pull-ups--BW/8,6,5
Mil. Press--70/12,12,10

Deads--135/12,12,12
Seated Wide Grip Row--110/12,9,8,

Step-ups--60/12,12,12
Incline Bench--120/12,10,10

Decent workout. Back has been feeling good, but still went light on the deads. Grip bar straight down inside of legs rather than outside, almost a sumo dead, as it bugs right hip to be restricted by right arm in the way. Need better pairings, to utilize the weights better, wanted to add weight to step-ups, but was using big bar for bench, and ez-curl bar is too short..... I pushed the bench the other day, and right shoulder didn't like it, so went a lil easier, though I really wanted a few more reps on the incline. Numbers still overall moving up since switching back to fb...go figure.

Sun. 4-25-10

Weight 188.0

First round of play-offs after Church, looking forward to it.
