Don't know how but I'm down another pound today :? Guess body is just getting ready for the pie that I am definitely going to have!

Last night I did 45 minutes on the Treadmill, it was an endurance program that varied in speed and incline, but never over 3.8 mph or over 7 inlcine. It was interesting, but not challenging. HR was around 130 most of the time though....guess that's good.

legs are making me feel like an old lady this morning, stiff and stuff.... body better not be falling apart at this point!!

Will probably not workout today, but family will be here and some are very atheletic and want to workout later...so, we'll see. I guess that's the nice thing about having a gym - you really don't have to plan a workout - you JUST DO IT! Isn't that Nike's logo? :)

I was on Facebook yesterday and conversing with an individual who stated he didn't celebrate Thanksgiving today. Everyone was saying Happy Day etc...he was from India - he then said we do it differently here.....we celebrate everyday what we are thankful for. Isn't that the way it should be? :):)

Happy Thanskgiving - or just Happy Day to those who don't celebrate this one day. Be thankful - I know I am thankful for family and friends, those with us and those no longer with us who showed me the way. I am also thankful for all of you - great Shapefit friends! You inspire me and keep me on tract. Thank you!

3 things Americans can be thankful for.

1. The British didn't win, when they tried to attack the Pilgrims. Besides we gave you Simon Cowell, so we got our own back in the end

On reflection you gave us Hilton. Call it even anyone?

2. The Red Indians didn't win.

3. Bush didn't accidentally nuke his own people.

Simpsons is really funny, the other ones are just lamo. They make it look like the 21-40 generation are all neurotic, overcomplicated, freaked out by life and half the time overconfident, the rest of the time, clueless and inept. At best it exaggerates some peoples traits, which isn't so bad, at worst, it portrays that generation in a totaly unfavourable light.

Maybe some Americans are like that, but personally I've never met many if any people that are that skittish and somehow are at times confused by their own existance  .

I didn't do so well with the day either. I made all kinds of 'good' food and was very happy with it. When daughter brought out the pecan pie, I was done for.

One of favorite sayings of old "Pie, pie, I love pie!"

That was downfall too :(

Raking leaves today at the campground - work some of this excess fat off! See you later!

Congrats Allison! I went into this holiday with a weak resolve, knowing I was going to have some pie, something I desperately wanted. I knew I'd get back on track and here I am...well, I didn't eat pie ALL weekend

50 Jumping Jacks
Low Hurdle
Front Steps 2 x 10 (over BB about 30 inches high)
Back Steps 2 x 10
Side Steps 2 x 10
Cradle Walks 2 x 10
Pull Back Butt Kicks 2 x 10
Bosu Ball Squats 2 x 10
Lunges 2 x 10
Shoulder Press 2 x 10 15 lb DB - Left Arm only
Single Arm Rows 2 x 10 35 lbs. Left Arm only
Lat Pulldowns- 2 x 10 70 lbs.

Decided to do the Fitness Test in the programs on the Treadmill. It was only 5 minutes, warm up at 2 mph (maybe 1 minute), then 4 mph at 10 incline, with 30 second cool down at 2 mph.

Unfortunately I scored only 28, which is the lowest end of average at age range for a female. Age range is 50-59, a Good result would be 37-42. Excellent over 42. Not sure how reliable this test is but I will strive for somehwere in the good category at a minimum :) I must admit lungs were stressed, something like when I've been exposed to smoke or other air quality issues. That only occurs occasionally - maybe next time I won't have that issue and I will score better. However I am happy NOT to be in the FAIR category! :) That is exactly where I would've been a year ago! December 8th will be ONE FULL year for new lifestyle! Woo Hoo!!!

Today I woke up very sore, mostly lower back - actually yesterday I was too - definitely the result of raking leaves on Sunday at the campground. Ibprophen will be in use today for sure! It's Tuesday, Cardio day, but think I will do a steady 3.4 - 3.6 mph for 30 - 45 minutes vs HIIT.

Food has been good the last 2 days, maybe not enough, but not bad. Last night I made a meal with "everything" in the fridge :) I started putting spinach in a pan to cook and planned on making chicken. I heated a pan with olive oil and after reviewing the contents of the fridge added, green & yellow peppers, broccoli, zuchinni, mushrooms, celery, edamami beans, kalamati olives - put a little salt & crushed red pepper and a shot of Red Hot! I splashed a bit of soy sauce too - then I sauteed some chicken tenders, placed then on our plates, covered with the vegatable mixture with a side of spinach for dinner. husband said this was the best meal ever! :)

Have a great day!

That "everything" meal sounds great! I LOVE those kinds of dishes! Last night i did an everything dish with cauliflour, broccoli, mushrooms, deer burger, lentils, onions, fat free cheese, and salsa. I know it sounds funky but its soo good and sooo filling!

I hope your back feels better soon! I bet after some nice cardio things will start to loosen up and feel better!

You're doing great and you are such an inspiration!

Or to use a basic Shapefit formula, 1 post = 100 burned fat cells. So posting on Shapefit is definitely a good aid for weight loss .

At house we call these meals "Lulu's Surprise" - we eat like that alot! :) I agree - love them! But I must admit I've had a flop or two over time :(

Ha! I missed the 1000 post mark - thanks for pointing it out! Hopefully going forward I can burn a few more posting calories ! Lynne - you are catching up fast!

Today, weight training. I have a guy coming to power wash the house so as soon as he gets here and gets started I'll be able to go upstairs and burn, burn, burn! :):)
