thank you both very much! today i realized that after this week, only 2weeks left of this class. im going to miss these people. i have to talk to trainer and see how she feels. if i should continue another 12wk program in weight loss or move on to fit. crossing fingers for fit because i love the circuit training! i will keep you posted on what she decides. either way, if she feels i'm not, another 12weeks of this is only going to continue success at getting me to the next level! I cant wait! most of all, i cant wait to reach the 40lbs lost mark so i can dye damn hair! lol. its reward to myself when i get there. once i reach the 20 i will get it cut and get a couple new pieces of work out clothes. its so exciting!

The great thing about that though, is that you are trying to get on to the next level, even though you know what you are already doing, is yielding tangible results and could be something you just settle for out of convenience, but before you would have been someone questioning your ability to get to the next level, because you were just trying to get some credible levels of progress, with a fairly standard eating and exercise setup in your life.

i know! today i actually had to make a huge decision. it was very hard. friend was selling his car to me for a very good price and i really wanted it but....i realized that if i do that i will have to give up work out classes. i am finally seeing results and i am so happy with self that i decided that this is far more important. next year i will be 25 so the insurance will be lower, i will have all debt paid off and money in the savings, that it just feels smarter to do this. i know if i feel this way now, i will beat myself up if i go through with it. as nice as it would be to have something better, i have been wanting this longer. i know i made the right choice. whats the point of owning nice things, if i wont live a longer happier life to enjoy them?

also today at the gym, we had a change up - we took it outside! usually we do it on friday. i hope we still do on friday because two days would kick ! i still had to have modified moves since ankle is messed up. i hate this! i know its going to take a couple more weeks before it heals go figure, the last two weeks of this class before weigh in and i have to sign up for another 12 weeks. nothing but timing right? it was cool today because i was able to do lunges still and everyone was talking about how i always go to the ground with each one. trainer said "shes here for the right reasons." that made me smile. :)

also this was really funny. as I have mentioned before we combine our weight loss team with team fit. today we did and as the team fit trainer is yelling out the se ones we had left in finishing our squats he yells "10 seconds left, team weight loss u keep going (he made it a joke bc of being competive ) I yelled back " that's because our team can take it!" everyone laughed and one if the girls gives me a high five. he started cracking up. it was great!

I think you made the right decision with the car. if the car you have now works and starts then i would get by as long as possible. Pay your debts off and getting in great shape i think is more important. Although new cars are nice too. I'm doing the same thing. driving a car with 190,000 miles on it. :)

Great attitude Christina. You have to ask yourself, what's more important? An old potentially wreck of a car today, or an old potentially wreck of a body in the future?

If you had paid for the car, but couldn't afford the classes and slipped back to being inconsistent and getting indequate weight loss results, you'd have been putting your own life, health and future at risk

Cars, like people, come and go, but machines often go when you least expect them to, just like people, but whilst there are very few positive influences you can have on the lifespan of machines, there are plenty of positive influences that many people can have on themselves.

I applaud you for taking that decision and I'm proud of you for it, because you and your life ARE worth more than any car ever could be :).

Awesome :)

The investment in your health is worth way more than pouring money into a car. Keep doing your thing!!

thank you everyone for your support! today i talked to trainer after class and asked her what she thought i should do. should i sign up for another 12wks of weight loss or am i ready to move up to fit? she said i am too good for weight loss! lol those were her exact words. she said that her only concern is that i wont get the amount of cardio i need because team fit is based on weight lifting. only one day a week is cardio. so she set me up with whats called a cardio point test. i am copying and pasting what the site says it does in a second. she is going to set me up with a cardio work out regimen for off days of class. here is what cardio point is:

So what is a Cardio Point test? Cardio Point testing helps determine your optimal heart rate zones and where your workouts are most effective. An ideal test for everyone from beginners to performance athletes it measures key cardiovascular training markers including Anaerobic Threshold, Aerobic Base, and VO2. It helps you see how effectively you burn calories. According to your results, our techs will design a personalized 12 week workout program for you.

she said i wear a mask and it measures what ....shoot i cant remember the tech. terms. but depending on what gases are burned at heart rate levels will determine zones for interval training. i am excited! i want to jog first 5k this year and this will help me! i don't plan to sign up for a 5k yet i want to jog it on own. the roads around house equal a 5k its great. i just cant wait to see what this year will bring! i also made it a mission to get out all summer! sunday after cardio test i am going kayaking! i cant wait! then next weekend if high ropes course!

kayaking sounds like a lot of fun. i took a kayaking class once but was never able to learn how to roll over. But i've never tried it besides that although i would like too. i didn't know team fitness was basically weighht training. Interesting. It sounds like your staying pretty active though and shouldn't have a problem with keeping up the cardio on your own especially now with summer here and i think your trainer has your back too! :D

thank you!!!!

test went good. she was surprised at fat burning zones. she said these were higher numbers then shes ever seen. i have a work out program that does interval training on zone. and as the weeks progress it gets harder. i do it three days a week. i decided to do it after team class since i will already be at the gym. if it becomes to much i will just switch days no biggie. I cant wait to get going! i bought a tshirt today for exercising and on the front it says "so you think you can do better" then the back "knock your self out". lol!!!!!!!
