I actually have a question about being able to lift your own body weight. So I weigh 196 now (finally under 200!), but I can squat / bench 210. What is that saying exactly? I'm assuming that's good right?

You should actually squat around 1.5 times your body weight. 1.0 on the bench, though, so you're looking good there.

i like a 1.5 - 2 x bodyweight deadlift/squat and a 1.25 x bw bench/chin ups...if you're not at these and simply focus on getting stronger

squatting 1 1/2 x bodyweight and benching 1x bodyweight is this for reps or 1 rep max?

1 rep max actually performed not projected from tables

hey swanso!
today in the gym i tried squating 155.
the first set i did was 105, 10reps
the second i did was 125, 10reps
the third was 155, 6 reps, then 8, then 6
i think that has been a big improvment for me after sitting on lazy butt over the march break! :D
