Biggest Loser Competition
Moderators: Boss Man, cassiegose
If you decide shirts are a way to go for all who complete the program, or if there are too many for it to be economically feasible, maybe the ones reaching certain goals or something - I'll provide them and ship them - just need to know what you want..Swan - just keep this as an option and let me know.
Yeah, that makes sense. I don't have massive understanding of multiple computer languages either.swanso5 wrote: bossman i just put that one page up so there was something there as a "coming soon" type of thing, just so people know where it will be...i'm crap at computers so i have a client doing it for me and hopefully more pages will be added in the coming days...i've sent him what to put on it so he only needs to do it
You can actually do MCSE, (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), courses, which teach you different ones including SQL, Oracle, Perl etc etc, but when I enquired out of interest, one company quoted me over £5,000 fee for a course, another quoted me half that, with some kind of grant or loan included, that would be payable when you've got a relevant job, or with one company, you could pay 1/2 of that again, about £1,250, but that means having paid for flights and hotel in India, for about 3 months.
So a definite no-go for now.
At least the main thing is with your contest, it's not one of those stupid ones, where you make people use a Fat burner as part of the rules, just to fleece more money from participants.
The common way for most contests of this type to start, is for people to stand holding a newspaper, so they can prove their before photos, were not taken weeks or months before anyone elses, and then the after photos are the same; done holding a newspaper.
Might be one way to help track peoples results, including mid way photos.

although im not really going to be in this JUST for the contest. it would make it fun but im one of those ones who "doesnt have much to loose" i wanna do it more so bc its a dedication to it that motivates me to STICK to it. not to mention that you, swans, will be taking a large load off the research and planning stage of setting up workouts and stuff for me personally.
but question, the contest thing wonders me. if one or two start at this day and five more start next week and then a couple a few days later and so on....the ones who joined at first are now down with the 28 days and expect to be judged but if the others who joined a lot later are still in the rank to be judged....does that mean the first ones have to wait? or will you offer like 'start up dates' as in the next start up date states may 1st if you want to be judged....or come may 10th and someone else finds the site and wants to be in it....the next start up date is june 1st so that person will have to wait a couple weeks to start if he wants to be in the contest?
im just a lil confused on how its judged if ppl come and sign up a way different times.... is there only ONE contest or will you have one every month?

everyone will start on the same day...i'm looking at 2 or 3 mondays from now...there's a cheaper rate for referring a friend so if oeople want that option there's still plenty of time to do that

i might run a few throughout the year...maybe different one's each time for different goals, depends what the reader's want i suppose
thre main point of the site is to actually do onlinetraining which is basically what i do here (doing programs, food plans etc) but hey i may as well get paid for it with the wedding coming up, saving for own business, house, future troy juniors and all

Is it $120 US? I thought it went the other way around. I think I need to check into a money conversion siteswanso5 wrote:160 bucks converted US is 120...with the refer a friend deal of 25% off (i'm sure you've got 1), it's 88.50 which is about 10 bucks for each kg you'll lose

Swanso - I may have a rotator cuff issue (left shoulder) plus I am useless on any Swiss Ball stuff - can't do a single push up (hmmm, may be the rotator cuff problem) funny how I don't have any issues with DB rows at 30lbs.

Will you be able to customize the program to limits we may have but still get great results?
