Happy Saturday morning to you all! :D
Thursday I did get 30 minute walk in but no time to post it. Yesterday DH and I got out in the morning for a bike ride. We covered 13 miles according to bike computer. It was a lovely morning. We got to see a fox run ahead of us and on our way back there was a doe on the side of the trail munching leaves and she had triplets. We stopped our bikes and watched a few minutes, and we were very close. The fawns jumped out of sight but mama was not worried about us. We carefully went past her on our bikes and she didn't even leave as I thought she would. So cool. :thumbWe had thunder boomers go through in the afternoon but they didn't last too long.

Sorry you have the opposite wisdom teeth experience Mo and Sue. I only had two come through and they have been in mouth for years so no worries. Cute bear Sue and glad you still have him. Nice to hear you renos are moving along Mo.

Well I must go see what the weekend is going to bring. TTFN!

Mo, I don't really want to say what job is. ha ha But i worked today and so far it's going good. :) i definitely am nervous though just with insecurity and not having dealt with people in person for a long time.

Good job on the biking and walking Chris. i hope the videos help. That doctor's advice has been most helpful to me for capsulitis. The Podiatrist at office said insoles, cortozone and surgery were options. I took the doctor on you tube's advice instead and changed shoes to a wider toe box and no toe spring and i haven't had the capsulitis since. 3 years now.

i don't have burning normally in heels. very rarely. But i bought some heat cream for when i do to see if that helps.

Good job on the home projects Mo. It sounds like a LOT of work. Will look great i'm sure when it's done.

Ben is awfully cute Sue. :) I like that you got him when you first got together.

This week i want to focus on lowering sugar/carbs and consistently working out. I have to do it daily because although rest days are important. every time i take a rest day it turns into a few or like now 2 weeks. so that is goals this week.

Have a good rest of the weekend!

Hi All,
I had a fine Sunday here. I had a nice walk with DH this morning (45 minutes) and then relaxed on the deck reading a book when it wasn't showering out. Just finished practicing a bit. I haven't been doing much since having the teeth removed. Just being extra cautious.

Hi Becky, I have been working on spreading toes a bit more to see if that helps. I know what you mean about rest days. Good luck on your goals and getting that consistancy.

Happy Sunday to all of you. :sunshine:

Happy Sunday, everyone--just wanted to drop in and wish everyone a lovely week. I am working two extra shifts to cover for a woman who got hurt on vacation, and also have several personal training sessions scheduled, so between that and bathroom reno duties on top of the usual home chores, I probably won't be hanging out online much for awhile. I am so looking forward to DD's visit on 9/6, but have lots I'd like to accomplish before then. :D

Sounds like a great way to spend the day, Chris!

Good luck with your job, and your dietary goals, Bekah!

Hi, Sue and Bama, (and YAH, if you are reading)--hope you are both enjoying some Me Time today, too. :sunshine:

Sweet dreams~

Chris i do think something similiar or the toe spacer would help. It takes a while i think to strengthen your feet if you change shoes to less of a insole. Your feet are weak according to the DR on youtube from wearing wrong footwear for so long. I wear altras with the toe spacers inside. The womans shoes is too narrow for the toe spacers so i buy mens shoes.

Also the foot extension stretch that they say in the video is something you can do too along with heat cream and a little ice for pain. I hope it helps. Just as FYI i didn't follow this DR's instructions to cure plantar fascittis just the capsulitis. I did have plantar but it was really mild and i just quit walking on feet at that time in 2011 and it went away. Every once in a while if i walk a lot on pavement i can get a little burning afterwards though but it's pretty rare. :)

Mo don't forget us while you are busy working and renovating!

I thought of you Sue because I'm trying to do nails more with working in the real world. nails are pretty healthy and long. i went to a local school and got a cheap french manicure 2 weeks ago and i LOVED the way it looked. I can't afford to go all the time though. So i got to work on skill of doing nails. ha ha

Happy Monday All! :D
I am committing to moving more. Today I walked to work (20 minutes) and walked at lunchtime (30 minutes). Just so you know it is a beautiful day out there. :sunshine:
Thanks Becky. I find that stretching calf muscles out keeps fasciitis in check. That is the root cause of that for me.
Have a great week too Mo. I hope you get it all done. :thumb:

Happy Tuesday all!
Last night we have to add that I walked home from work for another 20 minute walk. I made a nice bb-que chicken legs supper with new potatoes and garden crash beans. Then it was off to bagpipe practice for an hour. As usual some showers headed in but only shortened the practice by a few minutes. Than I headed home to put away dishes and help youngest move his room around. So today I just returned from another 30 minute lunch time walk. :D
Hope you are doing well!

Hi all, hope you enjoyed your weekend and yes Mo, I read through sometimes but seems like you all are doing so much and I'm not:( But anyway, sis had her hip surgery and all went well for her and I did get to see her at her new house up north for a afternoon finally when son brought me up. She had her kids up from the city although they stayed in a camp so they could swim and all so she had company last week.
youngest son and family are now moved to Mn. at St. Louis Park. Packed the last stuff last weekend in a huge truck with air brakes etc. that son drove by himself with Henry his dog to Mn. and DIL came the next day with the kids. DH went to clean out his garage and had a helper anyway since he got 4 big loads from there etc. to put in their storage place so that is packed up pretty good also:( I guess he was very lucky to sell his house in 3 weeks so no extra mortgage pymts. beside rent in Mn. for their place there. They will not be buying a house for sometime anyway so he can see if he can eventually work from home for his job so they can maybe move somewhere in the U.P. again. So no place in Marq. for me anymore. Will miss them as we don't travel at all. But nice to know he has a great job in a place that treats their employees very great. He's still part owner of the computer place in Marq. also.
Bringing Dh for a biopsy tomorrow at the Vet. hospital about 50 miles away I guess. So getting some stuff done today. Not great at remembering things but I see you are working as hard as ever Mo, on the bathroom and YMCA:) Could use you around here badly:) Its turned out nice and sunny from a cloudy morning.
I see you are all doing pretty great on the exercise also! Great jobs. And that is work doing that bathroom too Mo.:) I will have son's cat Misa here for some time I guess and the stray cat is still coming to eat on deck too. Trying to get it to the humane society but their only open 4 hrs. in the afternoon and when it comes early, I'm not ready, and when I'm ready, it waits until too late:)
Been doing some light bouncing on trampoline anyway. Not very long as back or inside legs start really aching but I guess that will get better?
Need to get lymph system flowing I think. Hoping you all enjoy August very much as I know around here, Fall doesn't last too long at all:( Hi also to Chris, Sue, Bama and Becky and hopefully I'll post more often:) take care now! :sunshine:

Happy Thursday all! :D

I took a rest day yesterday so no exercise. I had a bad night the night before so I went home a smudge early and had a little nap before supper. Got pipes out and did some practicing and then did more practice on chanter. :thumb: That was pretty much evening. Good thing I enjoy it so much. Not sure how neighbours felt though.

Hi YAH, I hope you have good news from the biopsy. Great job with the trampoline too. :thumb: Every little bit helps.

Have a great day all!!

Hi All and a Happy Friday to you. I am taking a vacation day today. I kicked can out the door and went for a little walk and got back an hour and a half later. :D So I am pretty happy about that. I found music player and had some rocking tunes playing to keep speed up and me motivated. What tunes you say? Old time rock and roll, Mony mony, Dancing with myself, Stayin alive and many more. Hoping to get out again for some more exercise but DH is being plagued with allergies right now so we will see.
I hope you all are moving and grooving as well.

Dancing With Myself, which must be Generation X.

Then Mony Mony which might be the post-Generation X Billy Idol version.

Hi ladies (and Bossman too)

Well IMHO the only good version of Mony, Mony was by Tommy James and the Shondell's and since it was a song that I got to dance to in the cage (owner was friend of mom and dad's) and saw me dance to it and was just awed...said to mom "how does she do that" LOL whole body would shake and plus I had very long hair back then so all you could see was a body shaking and body moving up and down and all this blonde hair flying around. LOL

Thanks for the memory Chris and Bossman..

Back later to catch up....

I was not aware Dancing With Myself had been recorded before Generation X did it. I thought it was an original done by them :? .

new job is going well. i had first person be rude to me. it really was nothing major just a bit rude but i've been trying really hard to please so i think put head down for a sec after he said it when i felt bad. :funny: A young kid about 20 who was a very handsome younger guy, made a face about the rude person and smiled really sweetly at me and was really nice. everyone else though has been really nice and so far so good. i just play it a day at a time.

The book is coming to a close. We are working on the cover and back. And then i have to format it. i have to convert jpg pictures to pdf over 300 dpi. I think adobe create or something like that does that and our library has the program so that is where i will be to work on it. I really hope it works out well. I will keep trying until i get it perfect for mom.

schedule this week for exercise. is body pump twice this week. Swim boot camp once. and swim and bike in between those two.

Great job on exercising Chris. YAH i go to St. Louis Park quite a bit for work. although it's not favorite place. I like the country. Sue i read your emails but haven't responded which i will do now. :) I can picture you shakin it in the past.
