I just started and have 3 seasons to watch till season 4 in June starts which is the final season. It's suppose to be SUPER good. :) starts out in Long Island Sue. I believe it's on netflix too. that is what i'm doing tonight. :)

Hey, everyone,

Hope you are all out enjoying some nice spring weather! :D I planted peas last night, with the "better late than never" theory. We'll see if I get any pods before it gets uncomfortably hot for them.

I worked with new client on Monday morning, and he behaved himself just fine, so all should be well there. Session 2 tomorrow.

I agree on the best spring perfume, Sue! Pretty picture. :sunshine: I'll try google for your workouts, and then if I can't find them, I'll ask you to check for links--thanks. I'm always interested in new moves. :) I laughed when I read: "Money doesn't bring happiness Bekah" because DH and I would totally disagree! Our little Money totally lights us up! I am working on the saying-yes-when-I'd-really-rather-not issue. I heard one woman talking about how if it isn't a "hell, yes!" for her, it's a "no." That's something I'm aspiring to!

I find daily devotionals to be a nice centering practice for early morning, Bekah. I read, write down "gratefuls," and when I'm feeling particularly ambitious, journal a bit about what I've read.

Hope all is well, Bama, Chris, and YAH!

Oh, I wanted to report success with castor oil on the cyst on back--I had DH tape a cotton ball soaked with castor oil on the cyst (it was in the middle of back where I couldn't reach) and then I lay down on a heating pad for an hour. After doing it two nights in a row, the cyst deflated and then eventually disappeared. :thumb:

little bundle of happiness is pestering me to go out (he's obsessed with chasing groundhogs in the evenings) so I am off to scare of the wildlife and then take him outside.

Lilacs aren't out yet here.

Yeah i agree if i had a Mon Bun i would think money does by happiness too. haha

the habit book from Joyce talks about not saying yes and no when you really don't want too. i have it on amazon kindle and searched saying no on it. pg. 49, 125-126, and 141-142

I like devotionals a lot! biggest problem is that i do spiritual in the morning and feel good and a few hours later it goes out the window.. It always makes me feel good though. It's amazing actually. even if i'm in a bad mood it helps. I need to work on talking to god during the day and thinking of verses and small prayers as the day goes on.

i'm glad things went well with the gentleman. :) Maybe he really thought she had those kinds of feelings for him like he did for her and just misunderstood the situation and was lonely. i understand it was really inappropriate though. I probably don't know enough about the situation or the man though.

Joyce myers says to think the best of people but sometimes it's that's hard. :?

mother teresa said, The most terrible poverty is loneliness, and the feeling of being unloved." :sunshine: I think even married people can be lonely. If your marriage isn't healthy or your not connecting with your partner i think it would almost make you lonelier than if you were single.

I can't wait to get this carpet replaced!! really enjoying Turn. Going to watch another episode tonight. Bossman wouldn't like it.. It makes the British out to be the bad guys and the patriots, ....... well as patriots and the founding fathers of our country! :)

Afternoon,

Time for me to do some catch up.....

Bekah, glad the YouTube video work. I have only done it in Lightroom and putting pics up on our blog account. They weren't a PDF. You could also scan (if you have one) and try that but don't know if that would work....

The new show on AMC sounds good....we don't have Netflix any longer and only get local stations and what we got the box they were giving out years back and get whatever stations on their. We own the shows we like and want to watch. Plus a ton of movies....hence the CSBM network LOL

Molasses, I see you are having nice Spring weather, us too till the temps starting going to the 90s...so we've had to put the a/c on this week and last week for a couple of days also.

Hope your peas flourish.

Glad the client behaved himself.

A friend sent the graphic to me and I just had to share. Yeah well for me they both were a bust...too awkward trying to put the band places in the second one and the first one wasn't as good as I remember. I do say maybe it's just me now as many things I used to do very easily aren't so any longer. Such is life, age and illness.

Had to chuckle on "Money" lights us up". Well had money and haven't and learned over the years you can't "buy" happiness (well for greedy people who just want you for what they can get thinks it's wonderful) however to me not "true friends".

I have to agree with that lady LOL

Holy cow on the castor oil with the cyst on your back. I had a big one years back and they had to do surgery.

LOL about Money and the ground hogs....our Mr. Bo Jangles loved trying to chase the rabbits, ground hogs, field mice etc when we lived upstate NY in Birchwood with was surrounded by woods.

Sorry no lilacs for you yet Bekah.

Oh Bekah, I have known way too many couples over the years that didn't "love" and had some very unhealthy marriages.

I've been blessed and count lucky stars.......on having the hubby I do...still hard to believe it's gonna for 40 years on Thursday.

Chris, hoping all is well with you and yours.

Bama, you also hope you had a good week.

Well I am all caught up and off to the "funnies"....hope you all have a nice weekend.

Sue

Good Morning and Happy Sunday,

No excuses just haven't gotten on here enough . Each day I say I need to post but something comes up .

I have read most of the posts and will again comment on what I remember . This mind of mine is slowing down when it comes to memory .

Our Lilacs are almost done and we have had 9 days of rain . Heavy rain most of the days .

I am doing a challenge of 1 mile a day (walking and some HIIT) for 100 days . I have been good and always gotten over that Mile but not to many times over 3 miles . I am on day 33 . poor feet doesn't take to the roads/sidewalks very well so it has been mostly in door walking . And of course with the rain it is cooler out .

GSon got his permit yesterday and was thrilled about that . He is 17 . Things have really changed for the young people today . i remember that the day I turned 16 I was down getting Driver License and Dad had bought me first car , Same with kids. Now they don't seem to care as much .

I read a good book on kindle , actually a few of them . A couple of Fern Michaels and The Wright Brothers which was very interesting . I like reading about that period of time . They were two amazing brothers.

Stephie is doing well in her basketball and Chloe's are is healing good according to the doctor . She was not able to complete her dancing or gymnastics this here because of it.

friends Gdaughter (who will turn 17 this month) is in the hospital and has received her bone marrow and things are looking up with that . She had a good report this week and when that is all clear she will get the Kidney transplant . She was born with Fanconi .

Well I think I have gotten you caught up with the business at house. Now I'll go back and get caught up on the past posts.
Oh I see that Birdie is quite busy with her doggy rescues. Saw a picture of her and friends on facebook . She was looking good. Never see any of the others .

Enjoy this Sunday . I am hoping for no rain..

Happy Monday all,
I too have been missing I know. That is what happens when we get busy. I haven't been very good to myself and gotten exercise like I should. I do get out a bit on the weekends but that is not enough. I really need to give hiney a kick and get into the shape that I want to be in. weight is okay and could use some tweaking. I just need to find time and motivation. Wish me luck.
Our recital is coming up this saturday. I have to stand up and "play" bagpipes in front of people. I still can't get through a song but teacher wants me up there anyway. Of course no one will know the difference. Who knew bagpipes were so hard?! :wowzer:
Everything is turning green here. Soon I will have to get out and dig up garden. I have plants ready and I am starting to harden some of them off.
Well I will read up later. Have a good day all!

Morning and Happy Tuesday . Well we had 9 straight days of rain with no rain yesterday but it rained during the night and supposed to rain today . I keep telling myself that the flowers etc need it.

Chis i am doing a challenge of at least 1 mile a day for 100 days . I am on day 35 , Most days i am doing more than the mile but 1 mile is very doable . 15 minutes and you are done. Love the bag pipes .

I just received DNA from Ancestry and have found out that i have some Irish blood in me . That was a complete surprise. Seems that some of ancestors on mothers side were Quakers which I knew as I have pictures of great grandparents wearing the little caps and dresses and some fled Germany and went to Ireland. As I said a complete surprise to me.

Just wanted to stop in and say Hi . Trying to keep up .

Hi All,
I am busy today so I got up nice and early and did exercising. :D Today was Tae Bo Flex with Billy. It has a good warm up and cool down that I like. Did get chanter practice in last night.

You amaze me Bama!! I am in awe of your 35 days straight. How cool to have your DNA checked out. It is more fun if there are surprises. :thumb:

Have a great day all you fabulous friends! :sunshine:

Happy Friday, everyone!

Hope your anniversary was awesome, Sue--congratulations on 40 years!!!

Yay on the workout and practice, Chris! Good luck with your recital! :)

Great job on the walking challenge, Bama! I hope your skies have cleared up by now. I love a rainy day, but after 3 or 4, I started longing for the sun. Sounds like a fun surprise in your DNA--next year, you'll be celebrating Mar 17th with extra enthusiasm! :D

I picked up Joyce books at the library, Bekah, and got the new devotional in the mail, now I just have to make time to read them. I will probably leave the devotional till the new year, rather than adding it to current pile.

DS and his GF are flying up for a friend's party next weekend. They'll only be here (at our house) on Monday the 22nd, so I took the day off. I'm really looking forward to seeing them.

I went for pre-colonoscopy appt yesterday and have the procedure scheduled for next Friday. Once I decided I'd go ahead and do it, I just wanted to get it over with! DH had a mole removed from his chin yesterday, so hopefully it's benign. It started as a hard little flesh-colored lump but then it got soft and bled. He's supposed to go for an echocardiogram now, too, because his primary says he has a heart murmur. So hoping that, too, is nothing.

On the good news side again, I did get new phone, an iPhone SE, so I've been having fun playing with some apps, using emojis in texts, and listening to podcasts, etc. that old phone wouldn't play.

Have a great weekend, and Happy Mother's Day, everyone!

Just wanted to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all and their mom's too or whoever they like:)) Sorry don't get on so much but I am going to enjoy a Long sauna on Mother's day as I always say, Mom does what she wants to do on her day right?:)) Had lunch with oldest son this evening and youngest son with family is stopping by quickly in the morning on way to her parents with dog and kids:) I have patch to listen to and then heat sauna up. middle son is working in GB but I will see him Wed. up town. The brothers are all going to some concert a few hrs. away for Tues. night so I will enjoy staying over older one's house:) Youngest son and family are moving to St. Louis Park, MN. for a new better job Very soon:( So I guess I wouldn't see them as much but glad son will like his job more although he is part owner so will keep that share in this technology company for now. Have to sell their house also so I sure hope it sells fast but there are a lot of them on sale. starts school in fall and DIL will stay home with gson for a while then as daycare sure cost enough also so they will save there. middle son is going on vacation the next week and probably going down to older DSis's in St. Louis, Missouri so he can stay there and see places down there and spend some time with her. I seem to be pretty slow at going anywhere but with older vehicle, I get kind of scared for it to break down also. Glad your all doing well with your exercise and I need to do something but still waiting for it to Stay warm! No flowers here at all yet, not even dandelions:(( there was a forest fire tonight south of us but I Think it has been controlled? they had to evacuate some houses and camps. Morning ladies,

Well no sleep again tonight....just finished comics and now time to catch up with you all.

Bama, I see you have been busy. I see lots of rain in your neck of the woods. Hope some of the lilacs survive. Great job on the challenge.

Oh Bama, I was 16 still when I got mine and 17 when I got license. I was SOOOO happy, like yourself and dad got me mine too from the head mechanic at Rolls Royce....and Johnny T put some Rolls Royce seat belts in along with all the tach and other extras he had in there. Oh and it ran so nicely....with some power too....as father used to call me "lead foot".

Like yourself I was so happy. However today things are so expensive and so many rules and regs for everything.

Which Fern Michaels ones did you read, Bama. Oh I love The Wright Brothers too.

Glad to hear Stephie is doing well with her basketball and Chloe is healing poor thing.

heart goes out to your friends Gdauther...along with wishes and prayers.

Yes I heard from Birdie too, Bama.

Good luck with your challenge Chris.

Bama, yuck on the rain....we had a lot more than normal this year.

Great work on the challenge...wow some Irish blood.

Thanks Molasses, we had a wonderful anniversary and got a big surprise with a beautiful flower basket from a friend. Very sweet of her and very pretty. I took pics and will take them off camera and post them.

Glad you are getting to see your DS and his GF soon.

Wishing you the best with the colonoscopy this Friday. Hope your husband's mole is benign. I had one on arm that wasn't years back so had to do surgery.

Congrats on your new phone. I know nothing about those things....old fashioned land line and that's it.

YAH, enjoy your nice long sauna today along with your music and book if you do that too.

I see you will see the kids on Sunday too. Enjoy your patch and sauna.

I see the boys are going to a concert and you will be at the older one's house. I see all the boys are busy and wish the kids the best in MN. Just sorry you won't to get to see them as often. Wishing your middle son the best on his vacay.

Well I am all caught up again and it's 4:18 a.m., so will give sleep another try.

Wishing you all a very Happy Mother's Day.....
