Haha it's not just boys who sweat like that ; )

Hey all. I've not been updating well lately and I can explain I've been super busy lately and I believe I may have come down with strep throat now. I have an appointment with with the SAGE Medical Group tomorrow at 11. I'm really hoping that there is something I can do about this. I feel terrible.

GOOD LUCK. I'm sure things will work out okay for you.

As for sweating, I know it's supposed to be healthy, but it doesn't mean I have to like it :P.

Well, here's another not terribly update-like update for you guys. I'm still sick, I feel a lot better (physically) than I did last time I posted. Emotionally is another story entirely, but I'm not going to go there. :c I have been eating terribly and I know it. I have been undereating severely and when I do eat, it's not very healthy. I vowed to myself that Monday I would dive back in to work, I would start eating more often and better and I would make sure that I go to the gym more often. I really hope that I don't end up breaking promise to myself, I just feel like ... I don't even know. I just haven't had any motivation lately and it sucks. I'm also having some social problems and I'm freaking out about a lot of University stuff. Ugh. Times like now I wish I had a couple of friends that I could just cuddle up with an relax. No such luck. :c Oh well. I thought I'd let you guys know that I haven't died or anything.

Exercising when your not feeling well emotionally or physically isin't easy. Just hang in there. :)

Thanks, Rebekah. It doesn't help I keep getting cravings for different candies and stuff and since I've been sick and blah I'm like, "Ooooo." and so I buy them. :c Which means since I bought them, I'm going to eat them. . . :/ Bleh.

That doesn't have to be the case. You could just throw them away and make a bolder choice :).

Strep Throat!

Post by Athene »

Aw, feel better Jena.
Someone in office said this to me yesterday, and it helped me:

"If you don't make time for wellness, you will have to make time for sickness, and you can't control when that happens!"

It insinuates that if you get sick it's your fault, which I completely disagree with, but I like the general sentiment of making your health a priority. I find if I think about health rather than body image, I do a lot better with workouts and nutrition overall. Eat oranges, drink a lot of water, and get well soon babe!

But but, the thing is that I want them. Lol. think I'll make them a special treat. I'll only let myself have a couple after I've done a good workout or worked really hard at something. It'll keep me from eating to many of them.

Well, I know how I got sick. I spent the weekend last weekend with cousin and her family. Her little boy had a cold and refused to cover his cough and I took care of him a lot. I asked him to cover and he said no, I asked him why and he said "Because then, if you get sick, you have to stay in bed and you can't go back to college." Such an adorable notion, but the whole feeling like I was dying for several days.... not fun. Lol. I've been eating fruit, taking airborne, sucking on vitamin C drops, and taking multivitamins.

He calls me his best friend all the time. He's the cutest little guy ever. I love him to death. People think he's son all the time though since he's three and his mother is the age of dad. I guess people think when we're out in public that she's mom and the little one is mine... Lol.
