LOL i feel like i don't deserve that karrie. After all i'm not drinking all water but some sugary caffeine free drinks. But i still feel happy that caffeine intake is getting lower. I have just a little bit of a headache this morning. not bad at all though. nothing i can't work with. i drank 4 glasses of water yesterday see what today brings for water.
I'm feeling really excited about quitting. It feels good to think in a few days i will be free of caffeine!!!! i hated the feeling of "having" to drink something so i woudln't get a headache. tomorrow it's half a can and thrusday too and friday i should be free!!
Really hoping that i can drink mostly water and that this will help with the headaches i get often.
Has a medic ever discussed the possibility with you, of Caffeine interaction in relation to prescription drugs, because if Caffeine has ever interfered with a drugs "mechanism of action", or clashed with one or more ingredients, this move to acheive total abstinence, may have positive effects you may not be aware of.

no, not one doctor has ever even asked about caffeine consumption. I read briefly that it might help with blood sugars and insulin??? That would definitely indirectly help endocrin disorder. Thanks boss for mentioning that.
I also still haven't started taken metformin yet. I took it one night but i dunno i need to though start taking it soon on a regular basis!!

woke up with a headache. i think for sure one can for thursday again.
this headache is killing me!! i think i sabatoged myself because i did have chocolate milk the last two days not even thinking caffeine would be in choclate milk!! it doesn't list the caffeine on the label but it sounds like from a quick google search that it is.
maybe i'm trying to wean myself down to fast. i really didn't want any headache.
i've really had a headache 3 days this week!! since i've gone down to 1 can. this is by far the worst one!! it's going to be a long day!! But it's worth it. I get headaches a lot i'm hoping that quitting caffeine and soda will help with that!
changed plan on how i'm going to quit. I just can't take a headache anymore while i work. I am totally miserable!! So i will go to half a can this saturday and all week next week and than on next friday i will go to no cans. So one more week of caffeine. In the mean time i want to start focusing on drinking more water!
Chocolate does have a bit of Caffeine in it yes and also Theobromine, so it has 2 of the 3 Methylxanthines in it. Theophylline is in things like Tea, so it shouldn't be in Chocolate as far as I'm aware, but Xanthines from such things can be converted to Uric Acid and contribute to Gout, as can Nitrogen in Proteins, so cutting Caffeine out could be beneficial for a few reasons.
i had tons of headaches this week and to be honest i'm a little burned out on it. One may have been due to eating hotdogs. I guess hotdoggs because they have nitrates in them can cause you to have migraines too. Never eating hotdogs again after that! not that i eat them much anyways.
So anyways, i'm going to slow down cutting back just to see if that will help with the headaches. So this week all week it's 1 can till next friday. And than next Friday i will cut down to half a can and the following week it will be 0 cans. A slow process but i HAVE to make sure i don't get a headache while working for right now so i think it's best to do it this way.
i had one can of coke today. Than i went to a mexican place. I ordered the vegetarian quesadilla with caffeine free rootbeer. The quesadilla wasn't the best. I ate mostly the rice that came with it and a little of the queasadilla. The food was a little too authentic for me i think. It wasn't likethe normal american quesadilla that i normally get. funny part though even though i only ate a little bit of the quesadilla i was really full from the rice and root beer.
Anyways 1 can again can't wait to go down to 1/2 can probably friday i will do that.
