Maybe you could equate Ice cream with negativity, to stop you wanting it.

So imagine yourself at some kind of important event, like a religious gathering or a wedding perhaps. Then imagine everyone noticing you with a massive Ice Cream splodge around your Mouth. Ooh the shame, ooh the embarrassment .

Attach some shame to the food, then learn to appreciate the reasons why you can't eat it much again if ever.

This attitude is setting you up for failure. Not to sound harsh but there are always choices, it just comes down to what choice you make. Don't get me wrong, I have fallen enough with diet due to stress, but it is a CHOICE I make. Stress is an excuse to eat poorly. I think everyone on here is extremely busy between work, families, other obligations - it all adds up to stress but it is how you handle that stress that is important. You just have to find ways around it.

you;re right....i agree...but this isn't always the case...its just this week things are sort of shitty..the past 4 weeks ive been pretty on point most days, and I said it fro the beginning..I do not want to force myself into healty eating as I have before..., but it doesnt mean that everytime i am stressed ive been wating crap...its just today the healthy sandwich people didnt have naything that suits taste buds, and i am VERY picky with food - and I had only 45 mins to figure out what to eat and where to eat it and all that crap...

i dont like how every single time i write something negative or a downer people comment ,but when I have a positive day no on says anything.

I think it's because when you are having a negative day is when you need the most support. I think it is the same in a lot of our journals.

Try to think of it more as constructive criticism :D I think everyone is just trying to help - like I said, I didn't mean to sound harsh.

So today is off-day in terms of food and exercise.

WHY do I lose so much weight on weekends?!!!!! Even though I eat the crappiest things ever. I know it has to do with shocking the system - it's just so weird, cuz I had a few fall-outs the past few days, I am even thinking twice about checking body analysis this sat! Should I go for it or not?

a) I'd be working out legs tomorrow - would it affect the reading since it will be less than 24 hours (I don't have any other day/time to check it anyway, and Ialways do legs on Fridays)

b) I had so much crap this week, ice cream about 3 times, 1 mac meal, today: nachos and caeser salad...and as in usual...ice cream tomorrow. I SUCK people.

I look the same, clothes fit just fine, even fall out sometimes. I look pretty good (most of the time, or during day-time at least). weight looks okay. I've been told that I've lost weight. I've been told that I look more musclar now...

I don't know what's going on inside head!

I expcet BF to be around 29-27% no less no more. 6-7 weeks ago is was 30%....I mean in 6 months I lost about 6% of BF...and I am sure I lost at least another one in terms of balance/ration between muscle-fat....

help anyone?

from past experiences...with similar weekends, if not the same - I always end up dropping the weight and looking better at time, even more than when I eat healthy day in and day out.

I feel so confused at the moment...abt everything...*sigh*

lol im far away from skinny fat, fat over manifests itself in stomach right away - lol.

Generally speaking I eat fairly-good most days of the week and enough...i just find it strange how every weekend i do what i do i end up losing weight and look better..not at night, but morning...

just worried about ths week's eating habits on the the % analysis and muscle. Not sure how doing legs tomorrow will affect reading on SAT...

I do have to say I've went to the bathroom A LOT today...both ways..ehm.

Today was got, I just got a little angry in the end of the day because I couldn't find parking and I was only able to workout for one hour (paid parking issues here)....so it got me all tensed up, but I ended up using a lot of the energy toward the 35 minutes short-lived workout. I still did get a decent workout I think. I did a 3x10 to cut the time, I can obviously lift more now since I can do a dumbell bench press with 10 kgs in each arm with 8-10 reps. Hoping in a couple of weeks to increase it to 12kgs!

Today:

9:30 Protein shake w/milk and a teaspoon of creatine. A friend gave me a small bit to just try out (sounds wierd and unsafe when I say it, doesn't it?)..she told me to add a teaspoon. I am unsure about the measurements and stuff so I do add a teasppon twice a day. Mostly in mornings and after workouts (any tips here as to when and how much to take?) I don't plan to buy it and not stick to it. Protein powder is more than enough for me, I think.

11:00 Brown bread: LF labneh and zatar w a bit of peanuts.

I was supposed to eat lunch, but called on a press confrence (happens when you;re a journalist, eh! good I ate at 11!!) So we finished at 2:30

3:00 Had a lowfat caesar salad, as in 250 calories, 25g of protein, 13carbs, and 9 fat w diet 7 up. soda drinking is A LOT less than before. I used to have it 5 times a week or so when I was at the university...Now I have it about 2-3 times at max.

5:00 stirred yogurt

6:30-7:30 upper body workout, did:
Dumbell bench press: 10kg each arm x 3 x 8-10R
Chest flies: 7 kgs (not a lot, I know...) x 3 x 8-10R
Wide-grip pull down: 30kg x 3 x 8-10R ( I usually can do 40kg with narrow grip, and 35kg with wide grip but less reps. )
Chair Dips w/feet up: 3 x 10
Bicep curls..Again lowerd the weight to 7 kgs.
Upright rows: 10kgs x 3 x 10...lost energy here.

then protein shake with creatine + water

8:30 whole wheat pasta w/chicken and hummus

11:00 (now) protein shake...

Hellllooooo!

The parking situation sounds frustrating. I would be annoyed at that also.

Your meals look great!

As for the creatine... lol! Yeah it does sound kind of sketchy when you say it like that... sounds like she gave you some drugs or something. I have nothing against creatine however I would be careful with taking substances that you aren't familar with. Is it just creatine or does it have other stuff in it as well? I don't know how much you should take though as I don't know exactly what you're taking (often different brands will have different serving sizes). Did your friend tell you how much to take at one time?... it would say on the container too if you have access to that. You could also look up the brand name online for more info on that creatine.

If you're currently doing 10kgs with 8-10 reps I bet you could easily move to 12kgs. You may have to change your sets/reps around, maybe something like 4x6 or 5x5 though instead of the higher reps. On those chair dips... if those are too easy you can also put a weight plate on your lap for a little added resistance. With the chest flies, its very common to use less weight on those than you would on the bench press.

Nice job! As always, I'm proud of ya!

I know it sounds sketchy, lol. Yeah she told me a teaspoon. I told her from the onset that I don't want t get used to creatine or make it a habit. She's pretty much a heavy weight lifter, and I trust her.

For the 12 kgs id so need someone to spot me, cuz thos dumbells the 12kgs look huge, lol =P

I usually do the 5x5 program you gave me actually and it's working lovely, its just today I had to so 3x10 to make sure I get to car on time, it was very frustrating!!!!!

I am not sure if doing 10reps with dips with legs up on a chair as well as hand is considerd easy. I usually pull up to 12-13 reps max, is that easy or hard? I could definitely try and add 5 kgs as a starter...

Yeah, chest flies are pretty hard. I could do 8kgs I think, but need a spotter - again no trainer, cant always find a spotter = not safe. I will only be able to get a trainer after 6 month when I have a full-time job and a full-time salary..I can barely manage with what I have now lol.
