I did strength training this morning in preparation for a feast later on! :D All I did yesterday was the new-to-me Stotts Pilates Essential Mat workout; it was aimed at beginners so I'll give that one away.

Happy Easter, Sweat Sisters! Wishing everyone a truly blessed day!

Morning sisters...

Happy Easter, now put on your Easter bonnet with all the frills upon it, you'll be the fairest lady in the Easter Parade....on the Avenue.....Fifth Avenue....sorry I couldn't resist and I so loved seeing the Easter Parade growing up and as I got older...plus I love the movie too!

Bama, great workout Saturday and we used to cut up our ham for ham steaks and dice some up too....loved it and froze great.

Enjoy your turkey breast today.

Great workouts yesterday and today, Molasses...and happy Easter to you also.

Well...it's Sunday and as it should be clean sheets on the bed, Lucy is chugging away and I am off to breakfast and a cherry blossom day followed by games....

Good Morning Sisters,

Nothing for me so far today but I do plan on doing something this afternoon. LOL I overslept(6 am) that is over sleeping to me.

Yesterday Just got steps in so nothing but the RLS .

Mo, I have Some beginners DVD's that I need to trade or get rid of . Thinking of our new store where you can trade books, etc in for store credit or cash. I don't think they give you much but will check it out. I wonder if there is a site on internet that you can trade. Something to check out sometime

Sue, Sounds like a nice Sunday for you. I just finished reading your email . Will reply to that later.

2 weeks and we will be on our way to Ohio. Think this time we will stay 2 months unless I get antsy due to the weather .

Morning Chirs Hope everything is ok at your house . Sending some prayers to you.

Bama, have fun with whatever you do today and LOL about overslept to 6 a.m., that's early to me LOL

I think Amazon has a trade in place for stuff, workout videos not too sure about! But some of the exercise places should.

I will check emails either before or after breakfast today as I was a slug and lay in bed for 15 minutes but in defense I didn't get to a full sleep till after 4 a.m. Lots on tap today also, getting questions, BP numbers etc for doctor tomorrow, plus a bunch of phone calls and more.

I see 2 weeks till Ohio. Sending a lot of positive selling vibes your way.

Great workout this morning Molasses and good luck with your list for today.

Chris, continued prayers....

On tap for me today......this morning Mari Winsor Pilates for Pink Workout with bands and will do abs with warm up and cool down; this evening - Men's Workout (from years back) 12 reps 2 sets for each of the following: Alternate Curls -Biceps, Wall Stretches - Calves, Bent Over Extensions -Triceps, Shoulder - Alternate Presses, Back -Bent Over Rowing, Thighs - Squats, Abdominals - Bent Knee Sit ups, Forearms - Squatting Curls and Chest - Bench Press;

Sue, in regards to this workout, you might find it better to do the smaller muscles second, as you often get secondary stimulation from the smaller muscles when you do compound exercises, so direct work on small muscles before large muscle work, may slightly affect the larger muscle work and also you'll be doing the more tiring stuff near the end, when you're already less than fresh.

This should work a better :).

12 reps 2 sets for each of the following:

Squats - Thighs

Bench Press - Chest

Bent Over Rowing - Back

Bent Over Extensions -Triceps

Alternate Presses - Shoulder

Forearms - Squatting Curls - Forearms

Alternate Curls -Biceps

Wall Stretches Calves

Bent Knee Sit ups - Abdominals

This looks better structured now and you've got the back after chest as back is a stabiliser for your chest workout, so working it before your chest might affect the chest work a little bit, but doing it afterwards won't.

It's just a re-jigged setup of the same thing, I haven't changed any exercises or resp or sets.

Good Morning All,
Well we did have a good Easter and a great weekend. I got on the treadmill friday, saturday and monday for 35 minutes of brisk walking (I even did some jogging). I also did a lot of cleaning over the four days! I gave the living room a once over as well as the back entry/hall and I am working on the decluttering in the dining room. I can see the top of the table but it is not empty yet. Once that is decluttered I will work on the rest of the room.

Morning Sisters,

Good Job on the Treadmill or as I call it the Dreadmill Chris, and glad to see you back with us.

Upper body with core this morning . 3 sets of 15 each with 10 and 15 pounders. Also 35 minutes on the Dreadmill.

Going though each room and making a list of what I can take to Ohio with us this trip. I am just about finished . As you know we are not taking anything that won't fit in the car so all the furniture will be sold.

That's plan .

Oh I have been surfing you tube the last couple of days . There are so many free workouts on there.

Good morning, everyone,

Strength for me today--S90 Legs, which I haven't done in quite awhile. I suspect I'll be feeling that darn triple heater in hamstrings and glutes tomorrow!

Great workouts, Bama! Good luck with your packing plans. I'm crossing fingers that you get a buyer before you leave.

Glad you had a good holiday weekend, Chris, and got some great movement in, too! We eat at our dining room table so it's easy to keep it clear, but I have a small table in the kitchen where I open mail, etc. and I have the hardest time not cluttering that up.

Interesting info, Boss Man.

Great workouts, and good luck with your doctor's appt, Sue. Cute puppy picture! :)

Happy Tuesday!

Morning sisters,

Doctor's appointment today, later one so on later, had breakfast first, and did all other stuff now checking on line before 10:20 pick up.

I didn't do the weight workout last night too tired so did walking instead. On tap for tonight - Evening workout part 2 of that Men's Workout - Abdominals - Pull Ins 15 reps, Obliques - Twisting Reaches 15 reps on each side, Abdominals - Stiff-Legged reaches - 15 reps, Obliques - Side Bends - 15 reps, Abdominals - Pull Ins 15 reps and Obliques - Twisting Reaches 15 reps.

Thanks Bossman, I just wrote them down the workout itself is actually structured like you have it down. Thanks though...appreciate it.

Great workouts on the treadmill Chris and kudos on the cleaning and decluttering, you are ahead of me now LOL

Great workout this a.m., Bama, and good luck with the list of what to take this trip.

Great workout this a.m., Molasses and yup you will feel the burn LOL

Hey Gals I got out for 30 minute walk at lunch time. Every little bit helps!

Good luck today Sue!! Enjoy your workout later. No I am not ahead of you in cleaning! :funny: This is just a bit to keep the spring cleaning from being overwhelming.

Great workout FitMo!! Love that one. We are your opposite as, we have a small nook table that we eat at, and the dining room gets the clutter.

Great workout Bama! Good luck with the packing.
Have a great day all!

Chris, great walk at lunch. Thanks Chris, rides went great so much better than Handyride....plus doctor visit was great too. Hoping I can do workout as I got the NEW forever pneumonia shot out and nearly have a heart attack when I saw the price was $320, glad insurance covers it. However, I did say to Alexis, "wow and how is the normal person supposed to afford that" and she shook her head too. I said this country really needs to get Universal healthcare like the rest of the world, she said I agree!

Oh you've done a lot more cleaning stuff than me lately. I've been doing normal cleaning and got some done but I need to get on the stick to get the other stuff done. Well now that this appointment is done and primary said "nope I don't need to see the cardiologist anymore" that will help.

Well it's late and time for comics....so off I go!

Good morning Gals,
Last night I did upper body with weights. I lightened up the weights and only did two sets. Arm feels good, so I am happy. Headed to visit Dad so I won't get a walk in today.
Have a great day!!

Morning , 45 minutes on Treadmill split . 30 before weights and 15 after. Lower body, squats, lunges, step ups . hip flexion, hip extension, hip adduction, hip abduction, calf raises, and finally trunk extension some with ankle weights , 30 count of each. This is an old Prevention workout that I dug out of workout files . Decided to it for a couple of weeks and then move on to something else.

Sue sounds like a good appointment at the Doctors for you. And Yikes on the cost of the shot . Doc has never mentioned it to me but for you with you lungs , I am glad you got it . I don't know about universal health care I have heard some bad tales about that too!! Nothing new going on here I may call eye doctor and try to get in to see him. The sty is gone but eye lid is still swollen . That is plan for the day. I do have an appointment the 17 but we are leaving the 19 and don't want to be having trouble during our trip .
So we shall see.

Chris good workout and sometimes it pays to take some time off. Still praying for Mom and Dad.
