Forgot to add weight this week. 77.3kg, up 0,5 from last week, so that's a :) This weekend I'm afraid I'll gain a few dirty pounds as we're celebrating our constitution day this weekend

Constitution day, busy day. Moving todays weights til tomorrow, which is usually cardio day, so things will be a little scewed this week, but by thursday (rest day) I should have caught up again. Bad thing is I'll be working out 5 days straight, gonna have to see how body likes that. Should be fine as a single occurance.

Presumably Constituition Day is some kind of public holiday in Norway.

An excuse to get bevvied on intoxicating tinctures and sick to the stomach with fish or sausages, or something like that no doubt.

You'll excuse me won't you if I seem a little culturally inept . I've never studied other countries cultures that deeply.

I have never seen so many people on the street of anywhere! Looks like it is a lot of fun.

Wow! That is a beautiful picture! I love the architecture of the buildings and the tree lined streets. Is that you hanging on the light pole?

It's a never ending parade of schools, bands, organisations etc that takes place everywhere. That picture is taken in Oslo. They walk up to and past the King's castle where his family stands all day waving at the crowd, poor guys.

Typical clothes people wear.

It's a day for the kids really. The buildings you see there, Lynne, are pre war style that survived the WW2 bombings. Anything built after that is pretty sad.

Not why some man feels the need to karate kick another man in a womens wig. Looks like some weird game of kick the transvestite :?.

I think he was referring to the above picture of the dancing people. I thought it looked like the woman has a hold of the man's calf and is totally flipping him off his feet! LOL! But he looks like he is totally into it and having fun.

Cardio day:

10 min ab work w/15 sec rest between sets: 17 tuckcrunches > 17 reverse crunches > 1min 15sec + 1min 15sec side planks > 40+40 diagonal planks > 17 reverse crunches > 1min 15sec + 1min 15sec side planks > 1hr 30min biking.

I'm planning to make up for some of the extra cardio this next month by eating a little more around those workouts. I don't want to lose much muscle, though it shouldn't be too bad as I've got only 3-4 (long distance) training sessions planned for the upcoming race, then the race itself. Just had me a 3 egg omelette with 2 lf hotdogs, onion, pepper and mushroom on 4 slices of whole grain bread and a protein shake  I could keep eating if I wanted, that bike ride today really drain a lot of energy. I'd say the distance was about 65-70% of the race in June. Next week I'm upping that to ~85%, then 1 or 2 days with the full length. Need to do some intervals on the bike as well, possibly doing some hilly ones this friday.
