Seems to be too much for me, though. A little achey in the back today. Last 2 sets I could feel I had worked it enough.

Next year some time around May I might be coming for a visit to the states! Me and a few friends have been talking about driving from New York to Los angeles, I'm very excited! Plan is to take a southern route: NY > Washington > Knoxville > Nashville > Memphis > Little Rock > Oklahoma City > Albuquerque > Bullhead City and Death Valley > Las Vegas > Then roam around in LA for a while. Taking tips on places to visit, things to see, detours etc! Now, exactly how hot is it around Texas, Arizona, New Mexico? Any precautions we need to take?

I did Chicago to San Diego to San Francisco and back by motorcycle in 2007. The southern route should be fine in May. By the way profile picture was taken when I reached the coast on that trip. In opinion staying off the interstate is the best way to take that kind of ride.

I totally see your point here, wouldn't get to see much on the interstate right? Only problem would be time constraint, we have many places we want to squeeze into our tour. I'm sure we could mix it up a bit.

Weights day:

Pullups: 9+7+6+5
+Dumbbell flyes incline pos 1: 8+8+8+dropsetx16 (3x37,5>23kg) (5x5 39kg next)

Bent over inverse flyes straight arms: 5x5 (3x20,5kg) (3x8 19kg next)

Deadlifts: 5x5 (5x77kg) (that's all weight discs, time to go shop for more! this also puts me in the can-dead-his-own-weight-club)
+Calve raises: 3x8 (3x77kg)

Standing barbell extension behind head: 4x6 (4x26kg) (fairly easy, nice progress here since I switched from scull crushers. 3x8 26,5kg next)
+Dumbbell side raises: 4x6 (4x23,5kg) (terrible last set, completely ran out of steam. 22kg 3x8 next)

Going to start weighing myself every Saturday morning. Last week 76,0kg, today 76,6.

Did the opposing grip today, worked pretty well, but lifting heavy deads really does bring on the sweat so I should probably get those gloves! 220lb next yeah? (the magic 100kg for us non-american)

Ahh yes, 100kg on Deads. I like using the old kg amounts as it takes a bit longer to earn something like a 2-2.5kg lifting increase, as opposed to a 2lb lifting increase, so it felt more satisfying. Although 2.5kg's is 5.5lb's which soulnds better but for some reason, "kg" looks more substantial than "lb". Obviously 1lb is less than 1kg, but even the combination of a "k" and a "g" looks good to me
