I don't envy that. In this country if you wanted to pay for healthcare, that's something you can do off your own bat, but a lot of plans would probably only cost the equivalent of about $60-$80 a month or something like that I'd imagine.

Our normal system is funded by taxes and contributions that are pay related.

I hard of a guy once, whos Son got a broeken Leg at one of the Disney parks and when they got home, they got billed for $6,000. All they'd had was a Nurse attending, a Doctor for a while, some Crutches and some sort of wrpaaing on it, not even a cast.

Man that blows. For that price I'd want the Nurse to give swedish back massage and the Doctor to add a solid gold cast. I think most kids would deserve that for the fee :P.

All I can say is that our system is sooooo messed up it’s going to take a whole lot of time to recover and strategize a better system. I know Obama have plans but it’s going to take more than 4 years to make a difference… Thanks to our previous president who took the seat for 8 years and of course… messed up our economy… So, who ever comes after him will have one heck of a time trying to bring the U.S back up. So, I feel for Obama! I can call the previous president all sorts of dumb names… but I won’t go there! If I get too political, blood pressure goes up!

Thursday:

Meal#1: Weetabix 2, FF milk, protein shake
Meal#2: Wheat burrito – eggs whites, broccoli, zuquini, feta cheese, tomato salsa & wheat tortilla.
Meal#3: Wheat cous-cous, baked salmon, steam string beans and light teriyaki side sauce
Meal#4: Soya chicken, string cheese, cashews
WORKOUT – protein shake
Meal#5 – Stir fry eggplant, zuquini and shrimp in flaxseed oil.
Meal#6 – Scramble omega eggs (If still hungry)

Workout: Video

I did a resistance workout at home. For some darn reason, I thought it was a bit easy for me so I popped in a turbo kick boxing video after… a tad easy for me too. I mean, I did sweat of course b/c I was active but I didn’t think it was as challenging as I wanted to be.
In a way, I guess it’s a good thing… because I would have had a hard time back in the days.

So today, I will try the other resistance workout video… It’s a good thing I’m trying out different stuff besides going to the gym and do the same thing… I mean, I enjoy that but it does get boring at times… So, since I have more time, I will go to different classes at the gym. At the moment, I will enjoy workout CDs…

Almost Friday!!!!

Obama did have a lot to deal with when he took office. I think people forget what a mess he had coming in. Honestly I don't know why anyone would want that job. Yuck. our country is so divided when it comes to politics not fun. What's really annoying about politics is that if you listen to debates from 15 to 20 years ago there talking about the same damn stuff except terrorrisim is more of an issue. Point being very rarely does anything ever get really accomplished. I was really suprised when the health care bill passed. Now I know why you don't want to get too policial, Nokie.. I shouldn't have gone there either. :)

I'm pretty sure that health coverage for preexisting conditions for children and seniors went into effect now but for adults its not going into effect until 2014. But either way i'm glad your saving money. That's always a good thing. :)

I actually do have some health insurance, because I chose to, but it doesn't cover pre-existing conditions, well I don't think it covers any, except maybe some minor ones like high Blood pressure, but thankfully I don't have anything that might predjudice cover, or any possible claims in the future. Thankfully I've never had to claim.

Lest we not forget that the financial changes occurred during the Clinton era - resulting in the Bush era issues. Our progressive liberal lawmakers and executives created this entitlement program that put people (who lacked the requisite credit ratings) into houses they could not afford - nothing more than a "back door welfare program" that we are all paying for today. Tens of millions of dollars in bonuses to Franklin Raines and James Johnson (Fannie and Freddie Execs)are indefensible - and all were the courtesy of Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and their well meaning but mathematically impossible policies. While Bush was not perfect lets put blame where it belongs....Rep. Barney Frank, Sen. Chris Dodd and Sen. Charles Schumer should be somewhere on the top of the list.

Sorry Nokie - BP also rises when these subjects come up - I for one am an out of work banker, an indirect result of these policies. :(

No worries Lu, I love to have all kinds of opinions and don’t even be sorry. I love to have people inputs on everything. It gives me fun debates as well as opening mind about other people’s perspectives. :)

During Clinton era, I must say… I was still in high school so I wasn’t aware much about politics… I was concentrating on taking exams and trying to go to college. However, I was grateful of him because he has helped a lot of low-income people like myself with such educational programs. So in mind, he was one of the best presidents that we had. International level, people like him. People like doing business with the U.S and our economy was actually in good status. However, I can see that his liberal law makers can affect other people’s lives while it helps other. A lot of pros and cons but than again that’s a lot of things…. Ahem… like Jillian Michaels “Biggest Losers”

Anyways, once I got to college Bush administrators took office and things started to get shaky for generation. I’m just not too fond of that era especially with Dick Cheney being VP. Sorry Lu, I know you had it hard when you lost your position with all the down fall. People do tend to abuse programs and laws which ended up making our economy really bad. People just like to buy things when they know they cannot afford it and forever be in debt. Now, we all are paying for it…   *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* uh oh.... BP is getting high... better stop!!!

Friday:
Meal#1: Wheat cereal, protein shake
Meal#2: Oatmeal, eggs (2 whites, 1 whole)
Meal#3: Wheat cous-cous, grilled chicken, spicy peanut sauce, side salad
Meal#4: String cheese, cashews
Meal#5: Chicken soup, green salad
Meal#6: Fish, steam veggies

No workout:

I did P90X last night. HOLY SHIT…. It burns!!!
And here I was, talking about the other DVDs were easy but sure NOT this p90x! I have no idea how many pull ups or pull downs I did or how many push ups… I think I actually did over 100 push ups last night… all kinds of push ups… of course it was like 10-20 each time I did it… I’m not doing the program yet… I’m still debating. I’m extracting the rest of tooth this weekend so I cannot workout for a week so I’ll see what will next program be…. Still debating… :?

Special Note:

Happy Mother’s Day to all the lovely moms out there. You are here because you want to take care of yourself and be healthy for your family. Keep it up!!! You moms are an awesome role model taking care of everything and keeping things together… I don’t now how you do it, but I’m happy you’re doing it!!!

HAPPY FRIDAY PEOPLE!!!!

Out of interest, did the Americans ever put public money into the Icelandic banking system that collapsed. Britain did this, because Iceland was giving Britain some kind of attractive interest rate, to put money into their banking system, but their economy collapsed somewhat and made our situation worse.

However I never saw any reported evidence of America copying this behaviour :?.

local authority eventually were outed in the local papers as having, given £2,000,000 of public money to Iceland :x

I don't think that admission pleased a lot of people somehow

I haven't heard of us borrowing money to iceland. Heard a lot about the volcano in iceland but not about their economy. We don't have any money to borrow but its not like that wouldn't stop us. I did hear about your election though in the UK you guys had going on there. fun stuff. :)

Nokie, I have p90x too. Except i don't have a pullup bar. I can't lift myself up anyways so it doesn't really matter right now. :) Are there pullup bars you can buy that you don't have to screw anything into the door frame. I want something i can just put up and take down nothing on the doorframe. I haven't used p90x fully. I just use it the weight training part not the cardio but without the pullups portion not as good. But i like it.

To some extent it's become an exercise, in how many people can resist the urge, to turn the words "Hung Parliament" into innuendo .

It wasn't for us and Iceland a borrowing exercise so much, but more like, let's keep some of your money Britain, then you can have it back at some point, with a big whack of interest on top. P.S. let's keep this between us incase your people dissaprove, however they will be very happy if it all works out.

However it didn't, DOH.

sounds like bossman they would have better luck just playing roulette black or red. That seems like fraud borrowing money sneakily like that. I would be ticked too.

Do you think the P90X is worth it? I am considering purchasing the program, but the one DVD I have done out of that program was mainly pull-ups and stuff and I don't have a pull-up bar. I also don't have a doorway within view of television - is there much more for equipment that I would have to buy? I have also considered the Insanity program but I can't decide which of the two would be better for me...
