It might be shorter than you wanted, but if it's not a bit jagged or wonky, that's the main thing. Worst thing would be having a fringe, where half of the front was 1cm shorter than the rest, so it looked like badly made curtains.

At least you don't have a Mohawk or Skinhead by the sounds of things .

Or one of those cut round a bowl ones, so you look like a Toadstool :o.

It actually was looking a little toadstoolish in the back until I had her it!... Hence the 3 inches gone instead of only one!

Hmmm personally I've always been a fan of the mullet... If i do anything its going to be a nice mullet straight out of the 80's. Business in the front, party in the back. Oh yeah!

So today i'm 4 days out. Diet still sucks and will be even worse tomorrow as i complete carb depletion phase. I'm drinking so much water i just might explode any minute! I'm REALLY looking forward to Thursday when i get to start carb loading! Training is going surprisingly well... had quite a bit of energy in this mornings workout. Tomorrow will be last weight workout then will teach spinning on Thursday and take Friday off competely. trainer suggested I only do light cardio tomorrow then take Thursday off however I think i'll just take it easy in spinning on Thursday and call it good after that.

Butt burn is feeling better... thank goodness that wasn't fun at all. Will be headed back to tanning booth after work to continue working on base tan. I hate tanning booths and am strongly against them so am doing the very bare minimum to build up a tan. Also feeling better about the hair cut... I must be getting used to it.... or the lack of carbs in diet has caused me to lose the will to care about these kinds of things right now.

Ok... back to work... (Or I guess I should say back to dreaming about chocolate cake while pretending to work). :)

Hope all is well with everybody!

I'm with you on the booths. I caught a guy in the Gym earlier, just walking into one, with nothing, no protection, no bronzer, not even the Winkie things for the eyes.

If he was on Greek beach, I bet he'd be slathering on Factor 50. I mean do people not understand the implications, or is it a case of ignorance is bliss.

Personally if I had any say, I would be considering telling gym, that for the wellbeing of others, don't have Sunbeds and Fat burning products. It might be the individuals right to use these things, but I think to some small extent, Gyms have a duty of care to members and such things don't equate to that.

Oh man you guys are the B-E-S-T!!!

Thank you so much for the encouragment!

So 2 days left now... the day after tomorrow at this time I will be decked out in (hopefully decorated by then!!!) suit getting ready to hit the stage. I'm getting excited and officially have butterflies!!!

Tonight after work I will be preparing meals for tomorrw and packing bags. Also tonight best friend will be getting to town (I can't wait!!!)... which means that poor fiance will have to deal with a house of TWO carb deprived nervous females instead of just one. Poor fella! Tomorow we wake up, load the car, and head to gym where we will practice our posing and hit the sauna... then head for the show (which I believe is 6 or 7 hour drive... which is actually Ok because I still need to embellish stupid suit with crystals which i have successfully put off until the very last minute). Once we get to the venue where the show will be held. At that point I have to track down the lady doing the professional tans at the show because she has tanning lotion which I will be needing ASAP (she supposedly sent me the lotion but it was returned in the mail... the whole tanning thing has been stressful to figure out!). Thennnnn we get to hang out until 9pm or so doing drug tests and attending meetings. Its going to be a long day! Friday we wake up (if we manage to fall asleep), get ready and head to the show (i'm assuming we'll need to be up by 5am or so). Once there we apply the final coat of tanner, and put on makeup and all the other fun stuff. Friday there are two shows... a morning show and a night show. The morning show is known as prejudging and that is basically when the judges decide who wins. The night show is more for fun and usually lasts until about 10 or so at night! So in between the morning and night show we'll have some time to burn to relax and just kind of hang out. After the night show we will be driving back towards home (about an hour drive) to stay at best friends brothers house. Saturday will be a LONG and exhausting day!!

So best friend and I have been playing this game for the last week where we talk about all the foods that we are going to eat Saturday night and Sunday. We actually have a plan of the foods we are going to eat after the show and on our drive home on Sunday (pathetic I know!). Saturday after the show we are going to go get ice cream at Coldstone (I can not wait!). I'm going to order the biggest ice cream that they offer and have them put everything in it! Theres a good chance that i might get sick but it will be soooo worth it! Sunday i will be having a big fat bowl of oatmeal and eggwhites with peanut butter for breakfast!! Man i love oatmeal! Then i will be going to the store to buy every kind of fruit that i can find (Its been a while since i've had fruit!)... for lunch we will be stopping at Olive Garden (Italian) and ordering a nice big lunch! I've decided that i'm not going to go tooo overboard. With the ice cream I will still stick to no sugar added frozen yogurt and with the italian i will most likely load up on salad and follow with some kind of somewhat healthy meal. Basically I want to reward myself for hard workout without undoing progress. Monday is back into contest prep mode as i begin to prepare for next competition on November 7th (which at this point i'm still planning on doing but kind of playing by ear).

So thats plan for the next couple of days. Its going to be a long, exhausting, stressful, and exciting weekend! I will take lots of pictures to share! I wont have acess to a computer this weekend (maybe Sunday night but will most likely be too exhausted to post) so will update next at some point.

I hope everybody is having a lovely week (this has been one of the hardest and most miserable weeks of life!) and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

LOL! Les I've been eating asparagus all week!... pretty much living on it! Today all i'm eating is asparagus, fish, and some kamut, sweet potatoes, and oatmeal for carb load. I feel for the poor soul that recieves urine sample! Although, asparagus is a pretty common peak week food because its a natural diuretic. Sooooo I feel sorry for all the urine sample people because they are in for lots of funky smelling pee samples!

We all just tried to goof off as best as possible. Yeah, even in the pre-Packard days. Man it was tough back then to goof, but doable .

I even remember whan a shy, nervous creature called Cassie fished up, looking for a sandpit to play in and being the kind of folks we are, we gave her the biggest bucket and spade she could handle and lashings of creamy sand to muck about in.

Yeah the early days were tough, even when I mosied on in to town. Just Swanso and two maybe three other regulars as such and a revolving door clientelle. Ahh, good times, in those heady days of 2006.

Can't believe how the sandpit has grown into a Beach. At this rate we might have to give Cassie a tray of ice Creams, and let her walk up and down, keeping the masses happy, and coming back for more .
