Yesss I squeaked by that exam, was damn close.I am going to mention to the school, that i feel they should emphasize completing the ICE package BEFORE taking that exam.The candidate you do the practice on in class is healthy, the one on the test, NOT healthy.I found even though I read all of the information, when not actually applying it, it didn't stick in mind.

Todays Workout

Plyometrics Booya !!

Pull ups
1 x 8/5/4
with
Jump squats
3 x 12

clean & press w BB
3 x 8 x 20
with
Side jumps on platform ( up, on & down other side )
3 x 12 ( didn't time myself, was quicker than last week though )

push ups with platform ( one hand on, one on floor, down & explode up & change hands & sides )
1 x 9/10/7 ( arm literally gave out )
with
Drop lunges with alternating DB front raise
3 x 12 x 5 lb

Mountain climbers
3 x 1 min

Wood choppers High to low with 9/10 lb medicine ball
3 x 10

reverse ab curl
3 x 12

15 mins treadmill
5 min @ 5 mph
10 min @ 5.5 mph

Umm on the push ups, I wouldn't call what I was doing exploding up, however that is what you are supposed to accomplish.Not sure If I will EVER have the strength to do those let go of the bar pull ups, having difficulty with the regular ones :shock: Have a fantastic day everyone :)

Today is day off gym & work :) Errands, mail papers & fitness supply store, send out a search party if I don't post tomorrow ;) I took some new pics, seriously can't believe that is me still, have a good day everyone :)

Nice new pics Bonnie!! Girl you are ripped! :D favorite new one is the one where you are turned, facing away, showing your back muscles - really nice. They all look great.

Thanks :) Well bought first piece of lifting gear, the dip belt actually you can use it for lifts & dips, however I will use it for the pull ups etc...unfortunately it means wearing a tank top vs usual shorts n sports bra.Not sure how tight this thing is supposed to be, ends are supposed to be together it says.Supposed to fit 24 - 32 inch waist..mine is 26 & the ends JUST meet, unless the idea is to not be able to breathe...anyone know how these things are worn ?

Oh & Les I seen those sandbags etc whilst at the store " fitness town ".Somehow I think that might be a spot I frequent :D

I'm in the sandbag camp too! Except I use an old backpack filled with the heaviest books I own. I should really invest in a proper one and get on board.

The bags I saw were adorable & already filled.Through some research I think this belt is to small ?..be making a trip back there I guess.

How do you workout with those things?
I see people carry on their back and run.
some just carry it up and throw it back down...

Seems I gapped on shoulders ?..Oops.Though I did see a lifeguard using the squat rack with safety bars to do bench press ! BINGO the solution to issue of benching heavier, almost gave him a hug I was so happy, seriously could of lifted much heavier today but have a healthy respect for a bar crushing me, not anymore ! Finally wore myself out, gym then cleaning a 1100 sq ft building with a string mop, those things are quite the workout.I did some dips today not sure shoulder injury appreciated it.Mailed away papers, need to make a resume while I wait now.Was a good week overall, increasing weights by 5 lb increments.In an effort to press heavier I tried the press machine, uhhh no thanks.Hope everyone has a good weekend :)

Bonnie deserves a lot of credit for what she has done and I am always proud of the Ladies on here, because they stick at it and try most or all of the time and I don't think anybody grafts for their results any harder than Bonnie.

I want to tell you that I think your resutls in a short space of time are impressive, inspiring and very heartening. You have changed into a strong, healthy Lady and a model of maturity.

You represent what the maturing female can be and for that you have complete admiration. You've changed your life around and now you are making things better for you and others, with your knowledge and inspiration.

WELL DONE, because you can be so proud of yourself and you are a top, top Lady and a superb personality and I want you to keep believing in yourself and keep believing that you CAN and WILL make a difference to others.

You have changed beautifully and to anyone reading this blog who thinks they are too old, or can't succeed, then think again, because CAN. You just need to believe in it and want it enough.

So keep up the hard work misses and don't let up for a second, because you're amazing and I'm really proud of you and I know you will become a great PT, because you CAN apply your knowledge and your human touches to make a difference and you ARE an outstanding rolemodel :).

It's people like you that remind me why I come here and try to help make it work, so people like you can find a way to become reborn and discover the person they were always meant to and DESERVE to be :).

Well today after stepping off the bus I realized wallet was missing ..Grrr.Second time this year..last time it was turned in, hopefully this time It will be also.I tried to concentrate on a cardio workout ..but couldn't, so after the usual credit card block, new bank card etc, food run, came home..threw on runners & headed out.Ran the same route, down to the park with the lake, around the 1.8 mile course, back UP the hill, yes I made it.Stopped & walked for 10 feet, then ran home.

While i was waiting for a bus after food run, I though I need to run..I am NOT going to feel better until I do, if thats drug of choice, at least its a good one :)

Yeah, wasn't into paying bus fare to go back to the gym tomorrow & I needed to relieve some stress :) Though, need new running shoes, clearly not enough cushion in these old ones :shock:
