I will not attempt to remove any double posts, as Admin has been informed and should get back to me at some point, letting me know he's notified the tech people. So If I accidentally destroy any evidence, it will banjax any attempts to rootle out the source of the glitch and it.

I repeat this for 10 rounds(30 minutes)--I do this for 3 days, rest, 2 more day, rest, start new week--I saw bossman had suggested this method to someone else and decided to try it myself. Every new week I add 5-10 seconds to jogging, and delete that same amount from the fast paced walking time (slowly building up to running 30 minutes without walking). I'm on second week (I'm only adding/deleting 5 seconds to each week) and like you...am about 70 pounds over weight. It has been working great for me (except for the fact left leg goes numb/falls asleep around the 20-25 minute mark), and has been by far the easiest way to increase running. It hurts (soreness) and I hate it while I'm doing it, but I push through and get a sort of high when I'm done.![]()
I'm tempted to try this again. This time i would use i think they are called super feet insoles and new shoes. I just don't know if feet are ready or i should put it off longer. I guess it won't hurt to try though as long as i stretch and ice afterwards. I will still try and do incline workouts too but not right after running. Maybe one in the morning if possible and one in the evening. I got to i think 5 or 6 weeks last time before i started having foot problems. But it wasn't due to just this it was due to other things too. I think i'm at least going to try and do it 3 times a week for 30 minutes starting at running for 15 seconds and see what happens. If feet bother me i will put it off till spring sometime.

Yes I did suggest such a thing. Replacing 10 seconds of walking with jogging each week, for every 3 minutes in total you do, so eventually you should have the capacity to jog consistently for 30 minutes, then allowing you to up the ante with either
A: Another 5 minutes a week of jogging.
B: A more intense / fluctuating course.
C: Both.

thanks boss.
hopefully i can do it. That is if i feet can handle it at all anyways.
I may be too ambitious for them.
But it doesn't hurt to try it at least once and see how they feel. I may find i can't do it at all anyways yet but you never know unless you try.

heart wants to try but i've decided not too just yet. LOL feet are much better but i think i know i need to wait and lose some more weight. See if i can lose some weight by spring maybe i will try it than.
