do 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps per exercise 3-4 exercises per major muscle group, until youve been lifting about 3-6 months. in referance to the a1 a2 b1 muscle stuff.. it is refering to which muscle fibersare being recruited at which point in a set, the more reps you do the more muscle fibers you wil call in to action
