Yes, that is very savvy advice from Chris. As soon as I hard you had a 5kg olympic bar, which I think it might be as opposed to 5lb, then it is limited to what it can tolerate, so using something heavier in the future would be best, and perhaps a new bench when the time is right might need to be the case just incase it cannot tolerate anything above a certain weight.

I would say as to what you can load the bar with right now, you'd be certainly alright with 20kg, (44lbs), but I can't say what the tolerance limit of something like that is, so you might find it isn't capable of coping with more than around 30kg, but it could be more than that.

A good thick 15kg+ olympic bar, will take well over 100kg without any real risk of bowing or deformation, however for now what you've got is fine, because yoy won't need a long bar with more than 30kg on it, but in the future you could do and I would actually reccomend you get beyond that point, because then it means you're cultivating a good physical foundation for the rest of your life and female strength is often very aestheticaly pleasing, healthy and beneficial for when you're older, because you'll be working hard in later life to sustain as much of it as possible, so you won't necessarily end up old and frail.

Hopefully you can benefit from this new equipment and progress. It won't be easy, but I will say to you, that if you keep believing in your own physical potential, then I believe you have what it takes to become pretty darn amazing and I can tell you're a very warm and emotionally rich person Chrystal and any female who comes on here and wants to be stronger, will never get any criticism from me about it, because it is ALWAYS a female's right to be strong and healthy, regardless of what some narrow minded and foolish men think of it.

So GOOD LUCK and if you need any more support or want to ask anything else, we will be here for you :).
