Re: Fygle's road to mass gain
Thanks, ladies!
Re: Fygle's road to mass gain
Weights day:
Chinups: 7+7+7+7
+Upright barbell rows: 8+6+6+6 (22,5>25>25>25kg) (same weight 3x9 next)
Barbell squat: 7+5+5+5+5 (50>56>56>56>56kg) (same weight 4x6 next)
+Calve raises 10+10+10 (3x56kg)
Seated incline angled curls: 9+9+9+dropsetx16 (20>20>20>12kg) (add ~2kg 5x5 next)
+Barbell front shrugs: 7+7+7+7 (30>30>30>30kg) (add 1kg 3x9 next)
Not the exercises I'd like to do, I went safe to avoid back problems. Good thing is I did squats again, felt very nice! Haven't lost any strength there.

Nice job dude....oh yea squats are back. Sounds like no issues when you did them either....sweet. Hows the upper back feeling?

Lovin the new pic! Veeeery cool!!

Re: Fygle's road to mass gain
@Will: Yeah I did feel it slightly on the squats, but nothing big. Upper back is doing remarkably well!
@Sandi: Thanks!
@Brent: Yes, yes I am waiting for Morpheus and Neo, right at the entrance to Zion, while dreaming about Trinity.

Cardio day:
Side planks > tuckcrunches > side planks > tuckcrunches > 10 min slow warmup > ~25min HIIT > 3min sprint.
Must be more patient, no more ab work til 100% recovered.

Re: Fygle's road to mass gain
Just something that crossed mind, is it ok to pan fry most of food as long as I'm using good oils (olive etc)? I tend to steam frozen veggies, but the rest is pan fried most of the time. I'm not a big fan of steaming to be honest.
Re: Fygle's road to mass gain
How about baking/broling or grilling?
Re: Fygle's road to mass gain
Nokie, I don't have a grill (if I had one I'd probably use it a lot), and baking takes too long?
Les, yes it sure is easier, and it tastes better too.

Nice job on the workout. How long do your workouts generally take?

I have a grill pan - it's like a regular pan but it has the grooves in it so you get the effect of grilling. I use it for everythingFygle wrote:Nokie, I don't have a grill (if I had one I'd probably use it a lot), and baking takes too long?

Re: Fygle's road to mass gain
That's why I don't own a grill - I am scared to use one!
Re: Fygle's road to mass gain
Actually I'm not allowed to use one in this building. I thought maybe you were talking about one of those foreman grills you have in the states? I'd like one of those. Charcoal grilled anything is so good!
