That's awesome! Congrats :) Maybe you guys will rub off on me not only with health but debt, too - it's pretty inspiring!

Credit Cards. More trouble than they're worth.

1. Debt builders.

2. Identity theft.

3. Cloning.

Compared to maybe getting a little bit of savings at the end of a month, I'd rather pay for stuff with cash. I then own what I have outright, so I owe nobody anything.

I used to get mail about 10 years ago, trying to tempt me with these devicive tools of debt. I almost never do anymore, so I'm assuming the majority of card floggers got bored and realised that this Fish doesn't chow down on hooked worms :P.

Yike Im pretty far off from 1800-2000
Hi Annee,
I actually have been reading your journal... I will comment after this...
To answer your question... I usually eat from 1800-2100 calories...
Sometimes 1700-1800 if I know i'm not active... or just butt lazy
I eat about 2100 calories when I'm working out Intensively... I add another meal or two...
I don't like to go to sleep hungery so I have some good proteins... Next morning I'm not starving!

It takes time to eat a certain amount... It's funny i notice... when people are eating clean.. they are having a hard time reaching the calories intake. But when they eat junk they go over board with calories... Anyways... take it step by step and increase it slowly.. until you reach your calories... You might gain a bit because your body is not use to eating that much. If you exercise.... a lot and intensive.. your body will want more food and you will get hungry every hour or 2... I try to keep it between 2.5-3 hours for next meal..... and drink tons of water... I hoep that answer your question... Sorry it took me awhile...
:D :D :D :D
Thanks girl...Im doing best...I cant wait for the Weight to start coming off...............:)or at least the inches............IM trying to avoid the scales   they tend to discourage me!

Yeah… instead of me going to those debt consolidation programs… I decided just paying it off myself with hard work! Beside its really bad on your credit score it’s as bad as filing bankruptcy. The good thing is that, I will not only pay off credit cards but school loans… YAY me!!! I was considering going for MBA but decided not right now. I want to have the feeling for being debt free (excluding house mortgage)
I will 90% of the time use cash… card with be for emergency and gas (keep credit score)

Ok, so I really wasn’t going to update journal until after April 15, but since I have time
(Boss is in training and don’t have deadlines for today) So….. YAY, here I am!!

So, I haven’t been really training ever since I took some time off.
I’ve been doing a lot of body weight workouts. Some cardio here and there… but still got workout in.

Month of March was CRAZY!!!! It’s not a birth “day” it’s more like Birth “month”
Since I haven’t seen friends for over 2 years (Ever since I’ve been working night job… I haven’t been to girl’s night out or anybody’s bday celebration) so because it’s Birthday… Everybody booked a weekend with me. Gosh… It just made me realized how many friends I have!!! Every Friday night, Saturday afternoon, night and Sunday of March month... I’ve been going out with friends and family to catch up!
There were times I actually pigged out and there’s time I was picky… so it’s up and down… And of course… FREE FOOD for me!!!

Everybody kept saying I look GREAT!!!!!
(Love to hear that… really it helps self esteem and motivates me even more… as I kinda lost some due to stress)

One of friend said there was a rumor that I was pregnant a couple years ago… I was shock and pissed off. Then realized… I was just FAT! I told them... nah I was not pregnant just overweight, I was about 187 pounds about to hit 190 at the time…

So, I went to the gym yesterday after work usual place… the “guys” section. Did a full body workout… but didn’t use max weight… Did a bit lighter…

I was using this leg extension machine and thought it was light so kinda did it fast for a quick warm up before I increased it. Then this man walked towards me and said “I just used that machine and used that weight but you make it seem easy. You should challenge yourself and do it slow” I told him… yeah, I will do it slow and proper but since this was a warm up… I did it a bit fast” Then I increased weights and did reps. After I was done he went back and used the machine with weights and he was struggling with it. LOL…  After that, I did DB press and shoulder press and he just kept looking at me (I think I got used to people looking at me because I lift more than 15lbs db…) Then he came up to me and said… “I am very impressed with your strength and you seem to be so energized. What did you eat?? I smiled and told him “I carb up because I knew I was going to do weights.” He was like “Keep it up. You are a strong woman!” I was all blushing… No negative comments from him so I said “Thank you very much sir. I try best.”

He just made night of course it made me worked harder!!!
So now, as I’m typing this… I am SOOOOOOO freaking SORE!!!!! I guess… This is what I get huh?

I can’t wait for April 15 - No more tax season and after our new year (April 13, 14 &15)..
I'll have more time to workout and finally get to stay home and plan meals again…
Its almost FRIDAY!!!!!

wow excellent job Nokie! we got rid of our credit cards as well - they ARE evil!
It's great when someone else notices your hard work in the gym isn't it? You need to hear it sometimes - picks you right up!
Onwards and upwards m'dear! You're rocking it!
