We always have mushrooms - probably 4 times a week in some dish, mostly with chicken and eggs. If I cook onions I toss mushrooms in too! Good article!

Todays diet review - end of day
Calories: 1259
Protein - 98g
Carb - 94g.
Fat - 43g.
For dinner I had a Pan simmered Chicken breast w/baked squash, red bell pepper & sliced fresh mushrooms, marinated with fresh ground garlic blend pepper/salt and splash of Sun Dried tomato vinaigrette (instead of olive oil - saved about 10 fat grams :D )

No workout today - planning on a 2 workout day tomorrow - so it's off to bed I go, gotta get beauty sleep, as I have learned (from another thread) that our growth hormone is only produced in deep sleep and it can boost your metabolism by 20%! So....no sleep = no growth hormone = no metabolism = no calorie burn = <- me

Wow...Lynne, those numbers look quite a bit different, with fat being lower than it has been 'eh?

That sounds so yummy! I probably use a little too much olive oil - I'll have to try the Sun Dried Tomato vinaigrette <--what is it though? A dressing?

Yes, it is. It only has 5 grams fat per 2tbsp. serving. EVOO has 14 grams fat - so it is a good way to save some fat grams but not sacrifice any flavor. :D

Yes Will, little pie chart is starting to look more balanced. :D
oh geez...did I just say "pie".....

Early a.m. workout:

3.6 mile outdoor run. Beautiful morning with the sun just starting to lighten the sky. Felt great - lots of energy, pace felt faster. Good way to start the day. :D

Evening workout:

25 minute intense Kickbox DVD routine. Lots of punches, squats, lunges, kicks, jacks - sweatin' buckets... :D

elbow was getting better, but after upper body workout day before yesterday, it is right back to hurting again - can't lift or pull up on anything with it
I don't know what I can do for weight workouts on upper body - I'm lost without pushups!

weigh in & inches measured tomorrow a.m. I hope to see a little pay off for the changes I have made in the last two weeks. :)

2 workouts today - go me!

Daily diet totals:
calories: 1126
Protein: 134 g. (yes!) target was 131 :D
Carbs: 46
Fat: 56
with misc. other things I didn't factor in I'd say total calories was probably around 1200.

not bad! :D :D

:D :D Everybody sitting down? :D :D
Weigh in this a.m.
160.0
woo hoo!! That's 5 lbs. lost since last weigh in on April 2!
1/2 inch lost in bust, waist, & hips.

I am so excited....this is lowest weight since joining Shapefit (tomorrow is one year anniversary :D )
OMGosh...next week I will break these dreaded 160's and finally be down in the 150's :D I can't wait!!!!!
Have to attribute it to really getting serious with what was going in mouth, keeping track of all fat, carb, proteins and using the fittracker to be more aware of where I was at in the day to know what to eat to stay on track. And adding 2 workouts a day to several days of the week.

so happy...me so happy!!! :D
